  Stood in line for about 2 hours Missed my Uber ride home The lady kept telling me my card was declined But now, come to find out this morning, she charged me multiple times of the same amount and literally didn't know how to do her job Additionally, Alamo cost me enormous amounts of money due to over charging for a car seat I never received I was double charged for getting the car back two hours "late/over" due to the first airport making me wait for a car seat I never received, so that was never documented as the actual time I left THIS COMPANY IS AN ACTUAL NIGHTMARE GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

  The staff at KCI airport are consistently about beyond any expectation, helping me make my use of their services as easy as possible there is no one no agency that can compare with the service available at Alamo

  I had the most pleasant experience renting from Alamo at the Kansas City Airport! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming, but what truly made my visit unforgettable was Kennise A. She was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely friendly. Since it was my first time visiting Kansas City, she took the time to recommend places to see and things to do, which made me feel so welcomed. Her warm personality and thoughtful recommendations turned what could have been a routine car rental into a memorable part of my trip. Excellent customer service like hers is rare, and she is a true asset to Alamo. Thank you, Kennise A., for making my first visit to Kansas City such a wonderful experience!

  I had previously had a great experience with Alamo. I travel and rent cars often. The last time I’d rented with them, I’d used the valet parking at a hotel and the car was damaged by the valet. I’d been following up weekly to make sure the claim was resolved. The claim manager told me not to worry about it, that it was in process. Because of his reassurance, I booked again with Alamo and prepaid for a luxury car. When my two kids and I got into the car, we were about to exit through the booth when I was told I was on the “do not rent” list. I was then asked to exit the car with my two children and told they would not rent to me. After a long day of travel, I was left with kids and luggage on the curb to fend for myself. Absolutely inexcusable. There was no offer of a solution from the manager. I should have been told when I made the reservation what was happening. Instead I had to scramble last minute to figure out a way to transport myself and my kids for the next week. I was beyond stressed and upset. Thanks to Avis for coming to the rescue. My advice is to rent from them.

  I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Alamo at Kansas City International Airport (MCI). Lorraine was incredible—super helpful, friendly, funny, and genuinely pleasant to work with. What impressed me most was her attitude. The airport was extremely busy with the World Cup bringing in large crowds, and despite what looked like a full house, she remained calm, professional, and welcoming to every customer. She never seemed overwhelmed and made the entire rental process smooth and enjoyable. The vehicle itself was excellent, clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. The return process was just as impressive—fast, easy, and completely hassle-free. I am an Avis President's Club member and typically rent through Avis, but this trip I booked through Priceline and ended up with Alamo. Given some recent disappointments with my usual rental experience, trying Alamo turned out to be the best decision I could have made. No regrets whatsoever. From pickup to return, the experience was a perfect 10/10. Lorraine's customer service truly stood out, and she deserves recognition for the positive impression she made. I'll definitely be considering Alamo again for future rentals.
