  AutoZone has two locations in Joplin, which is odd. I'd stopped at the other at 2900 East 7th Street earlier. When I went to install the air filter, it was the wrong shape. Frustrating and now I need to drive across town to replace it. I did the maps thing for the directions and the maps suggested this one was closer. It is at 1700 *West* 7th Street which is closer to my daughter's house. So I'm here to exchange the engine air filter because the one I purchased earlier did not fit. Weird because I used the guidebook to get the right one but I guess I did it wrong. The gents working this evening were completely understanding and very helpful. Perhaps because they noticed that my hands are absolutely not used to working on cars, they took some pity on me and assisted with finding the right air filter and doing an easy exchange. Regardless, I'll take it. I got this second one back to the house and it fit perfectly well. Next time, and there will be a next time, maybe I'll ask for help first off. Nah!

  The employees have always been friendly and have lent me a tool or two when I needed to swap something small out quickly.

  Came in because my low beem light was out. Recieved great service. Michelle came out to see if it they could do the install. She ended up "fixing" the light for me. Thank you Michelle, I will be back when it really does need to be replaced.
