  I had an extraordinarily frustrating experience with Safelite that ended in them canceling my claim altogether after weeks of delays. 1. Incorrect Parts & Lack of Communication: Techs came out 3 days after my initial appointment, only to inform me they brought the wrong windshield. When they canceled my rescheduled appointment 3 days later claiming the part hadn't arrived, I asked if they ordered the correct replacement—the rep had no record or awareness that the first one was wrong. 2. System & Inventory Issues: The next rescheduled appointment was canceled because their system "wasn't auto-ordering parts." On the subsequent attempt, the part still hadn't arrived. 3. Unresponsive Management: I contacted corporate to escalate my frustration. Corporate tried calling the local shop directly, but nobody answered. They emailed the local manager and promised a follow-up, which I never received. Instead, I just got an automated email rescheduling me again for Friday. 4. Last-Minute Cancellation & Claim Drop: After calling Thursday to confirm the windshield was actually in stock (they assured me it was and that we were good to go), they called Friday morning to cancel again because a tech called out sick. When I called corporate to resolve this, I was informed the shop had simply canceled my claim entirely and issued a refund. Safelite showed a total disregard for my time and zero internal organization. I ended up having my insurance provider find a different auto glass shop. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

  Glass replacement: 5 out of 5. Customer service: 2 out of 5. Close early when trying to drop off. Trying to reach a human and not AI....a big fat ZERO!!!!! I spent 10 min trying to ask for customer service only to have AI tell me, I don't understand what you want. Extremely frustrating.

  Friendly, easy with availability of coming to you, from filling in chips or full replacement haven't had a bad experience yet.

  The entire experience was positive. From scheduling, to speaking with our technician Corum, who was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Not having to bring my vehicle into a shop was very convenient and the technician arriving with OEM glass and also being able to conduct the required ADAS calibration was up to highest standards. Highly recommend!
