    Car was dirty, smelled strongly of cigarettes, needed engine maintenance and the gas tank was empty.

    Very poor management. I reserved a vehicle went to pick it up. Waiting room is standing room only, One person working the counter. Then after getting the paperwork done it took 45 minutes to get me the actual car. News flash to the manager, 4 th of July weekends are busy!!!! Get more staff.

    Honestly if I could give no stars I would. I booked a reservation for Wednesday May 20th for the 15 passenger van. I read over everything carefully when I booked because I’ve never rented a vehicle with that many passengers before. The day before pickup the manager called and was just checking to see if I was still on go for getting the car. I said yes and then he let me know about having to have a credit card for pickup and a credit card only. I let him know I didn’t know that and on the website it says credit OR DEBIT card. He goes to say well that’s their policy for anything over 5 seats. He can’t offer me anything over 5 seats because I would need a credit card. I asked how long the policy was like that. He told me it’s always been like that. But I took a trip last year (can’t remember exact date so it may have been just a little longer) and got a 3 row car seating 7-8 people with my DEBIT CARD. I asked for so many solutions to this problem, even willing to accept a 7 seater, but because I didn’t have a credit card they weren’t willing to work with me. EVEN THOUGH IN THE FINE PRINT IT SAYS CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. When I asked one of the managers where online it says that it had to be only a cc he replied “idk somewhere in the fine print probably”. I feel like they didn’t have a single care in the world that they were screwing me over the day before me and 6 kids (plus 2 other adults) were supposed to get on the road. I called customer care, he transferred everything over to corporate and lmk that they would get back to me either through phone call or email and that he prioritized it in their system so it shouldn’t take long before hearing something back and I heard nothing. So I called back and the lady I spoke with let me know as long as I had everything they were going to let me get the vehicle with my debit card as long as I had a utility bill and either a phone bill or check stub. I had everything I needed to have and they still played me. She told me if I got there and had problems to call them back and they would get everything figured out. I did that and customer service basically said they can’t do anything about it. So rightfully so, I went off on them. I had to settle for a 5 seater, which meant I had to LEAVE SOME OF MY KIDS HOME. I couldn’t even enjoy my trip without them there. And the only reason I still went is because I had already paid for everything in advance in the other state! I cried in front of them because I was so upset and they still showed no compassion (not that I needed or wanted them too) I SAY NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. And unless all my money is coming back for all the stress and anxiety that was caused over this trip/reservation there’s nothing left to be said.
