  Walking into the dealership I didn’t know what to expect, i was actually thinking the worst as far as driving off the lot with what I wanted. As soon as I hit the door everyone was polite and introduced me to Chris whom I talked to on the phone. All I can say is WOW! I was listened to and then it was out in motion. Chris and Kevin helped me drive off the lot with what wanted in an efficient time and I couldn’t be any happier. Thank you for being very professional and with none of the two sided promises. I will recommend others based solely on my experience.

  I had a very pleasant and professional experience recently when buying my new 2026 VW Taos at Bommarito VW Hazelwood. My daughter's family recently bought a VW and highly recommended going there when I was ready to purchase a new car. There are other VW dealerships much closer to my home, but after the recommendation from my daughter and her husband, I knew that Bommarito Hazelwood was the location where I would get the best customer service and deal. My salesman, Sean Trapp, was patient, answered all my questions, and never tried to push me into a sale. The process was relaxed and handled without all the stress of buying a new car. Kevin Johnson made the financial process of purchasing my Taos just as easy and relaxed as Sean had done when choosing it. If you are considering the purchase of a Volkswagon, I would highly recommend seeking out Sean Trapp at Bommarito VW Hazelwood.

  I have had the worst experience with the service : body department. My vehicle had been there for over a month to get work done. I took my car to be repaired due to an accident. I’ve been constantly told that they are short staffed. My insurance company is involved and have been cooperating with sending paid invoices for what needs to be completed and yet this is still being dragged out longer than needed. To make matters worst the items are being called out one at a time and not collectively. Once one thing is addressed next day it’s something else. I am beyond frustrated. Of course when I purchased I received the best service but I am not receiving the same service from the service/body department to get my vehicle repaired.

  If you’re Black, don’t come here b|c you’ll get the runaround, lied to, get your hopes up for nothing, and receive false promises. I came to this location looking to get a Volkswagen. I told them my situation and I told them another dealership couldn’t work with me but Volkswagen promised they would make it work and that I would be leaving with the car of my choice. I was working with the finance guy Mike Price. I go in on a Saturday afternoon and he tells me he’s not able to find a bank that will give me a loan to get a car and that banks are starting to close. He stated he wasn’t done trying and that he’ll keep trying on Monday and that he will give me a call. I waited until Monday, Mike calls me around 11:40ish and says he’s working on finding a bank for me. We’re on the phone back and forth all afternoon. Mike calls again and asks if I could put extra money down for my down payment and that with this he might have something that will work for me. I said okay I can do that. Mike calls back later around maybe 1pm going on 2pm and says “come get your car girl, it’s your’s, just need to bring your ID and your down payment but we have your ID on file already, so just your down payment.” Mike goes on to say how he worked it out and found a bank and that the car is mine, and he tells me how his daughter has a Jetta Sport and how she loves this car and that I’m going to love it too. I asked Mike to confirm that the car is mine and he says yes and then I ask him about my monthly rate, and tells me the monthly rate specifically down to the cent and I said okay perfect, and then he says yes so come up here so I can show you how to reduce your monthly rate in a few months and because I’m going to sell you another car too. He asks how soon can I get up there and I told Mike I will be there within the hour. An hour later, I’m on my way, I was just an exit away, Mike calls me. I answer the phone and Mike immediately says, “ I’m sorry you can’t get the car.” I asked him what does he mean, what are you saying, this doesn’t make any sense. Mike tells me, “the bank sent me a email back saying they didn’t approve you and they can’t approve you because of how much you make” I go on to say that still doesn’t make any sense, I’m already on my way, you said the car was mine, you even gave me the exact number of my monthly rate down to the cent. Mike says, “ well hold on give me an hour, don’t come yet let me work something out.” (I make a decent amount of money and this whole situation just didn’t make sense at all.) We hang up the phone, and I arrive to Volkswagen, my uncle and I go into Mike’s office and we are so angry and upset because nothing about this made sense. When we get into Mike’s office, he continues the say the same thing he said on the phone about how the bank allegedly reneged. (Not his actually words but Mike basically reneged on what he said) I wasn’t upset that I wasn’t “approved” allegedly, I was more so upset because an hour prior to me arriving Mike promised me the car was mine, but when we got into his office he denied ever saying the car was mine and then he says “oh that was preliminary stuff” like he was just talking to be talking. But the final comment that Mike said that further my anger aside from being lied to and getting my hopes up for nothing, Mike asked if I had anyone to support or co-sign, I said no. And then he ask me, “What about child support?” When I realized what he asked me, I was in shock and trying to process the racist remark he just said to me. Mind you, I DON’T have any kids and for him to ask about child support, was outrageous and racist. WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME I HAVE CHILD SUPPORT AND IF I DID WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME I WOULD USE CHILD SUPPORT TO GET A CAR REGARDLESS I DON’T EVEN HAVE KIDS SO WHAT MADE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE TO EVEN ASK THAT TO EVEN THINK OF THAT!!! Mike Price will deny all of this, but I have legitimate proof of everything he said to me from Saturday to Monday. I am very disappointed and hurt by the customer service I received at Bommarito Volkswagen Hazelwood location.
