  I regret purchasing a 2026 Coleman 13B. Got it in April 17th, and since then it’s been one issue after another. We’ve dealt with ongoing leaks from the AC and around a window that I have not gotten around to fix. We also experienced water intrusion in the compartment beneath the queen bed. The first repair cost approximately $400, only for another leak to appear 3 days later that required an additional repair costing around $500. We’ve also experienced electrical issues that had to be diagnosed and repaired ourselves. The shower pan separated and came loose, requiring it to be resecured and recaulked. Even the tank monitoring system does not function properly and indicates the tank is full when it is not. What concerns me most is that when a technician inspected the camper, evidence of prior water damage was discovered in areas near wiring and plumbing. Whether this damage existed before the sale or developed shortly afterward, it has only added to the frustration of ownership. I understand that no RV is perfect and that repairs can happen. However, the number of issues we’ve experienced in just a few months of ownership has been unacceptable for a brand-new 2026 Coleman 13B. Looking back, I’m glad I walked away from the initial offer, which included a 10-year loan at nearly 20% interest. Even after negotiating a better deal, I never expected a brand-new camper to come with this many problems. This purchase has left me with significant buyer’s remorse. What should have been an exciting purchase has instead become a series of repairs, ongoing leaks, and unexpected expenses. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this model.

  I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about Camping World. I never intended to purchase anything with them. They happened to have a niche camper we were looking for. I was nervous about buying through them, but we had a great experience. We live 4.5 hours away and wanted to be sure before making the commute. They worked great with a third party inspector we hired and fixed everything he found. One repair was still needed and they coordinated to cover it with our local camping world. It allowed us pick it up then get the replacement we needed. Everything is perfect now. Junior was excellent. Communicated very well with my husband and I, answered my million questions. The finance team was easy to work with with. I went into this with reservations and very happy. Based on this experience, I would use them again.

  The worst sales experience of my life! "MOCamp" was saved in my phone for Jimmy Norris(sales rep), Missouri Camping World. Jimmy Norris sold us a new 2025 RV. What he didn't mention was- they were going to ship an RV to us with no power cord and the completely wrong chairs (just to save a few bucks I suspect). We were so adamant about the chairs we confirmed with him on text (see below) before we bought....We ended up getting these white chairs- which don't even go with this model RV. We spent 6 hrs hiring an electrician on the delivery day evening trying to rig the 50A power source, to our 50A extension cord, there wasn't an adapter- which made it even more fun. At that point I called the sales person a "liar". The text exchanges being proof-- he told us the chairs were coming with shipment. Never mind the fact we had no power cord. He got all defensive, and then we were off! Fast-forward a few days, then I have to deal with the General Manager, Kenneth Keith. He goes out of his way on multiple occasions to argue about the circumstances. Both of them could NOT admit they were wrong in what they did. I thought, just own the mistake and make it right. But Kenneth just wanted to email back and forth arguing- instead of just making a few calls to resolve it Ultimately, I told them to keep the chairs we should've received and keep the power cord they should have had in the RV- it simply wasn't worth our time arguing with a GM who clearly doesn't believe in accountability. Takeaways: Don't buy anything from Jimmy, and if you do, expect their GM Kenneth to do nothing to resolve the issue besides argue. The "used car salesman" analogy works well with these two characters! I would like to point out, Ryan Cannon(Finance guy) was pleasant and reasonable to work with. Avoid this dealership altogether would be my advice.

  If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place had our business when my husband and I were first starting out camping, we were a couple of suckers as I should say. I was told I was lying about this whole situation but our very first camper had water damage when we bought it that was not visible or anything to us until we traded it for a new camper. We then were told about the water damage and got barely anything for our camper. This camper we loved but due to a new addition to our family we needed something a little bigger. Nobody was willing to work with us nor own up to the fact they sold us a camper with water damage, tampons, sand in the sewer tank, as well as the toilet had to be replaced due to us inhaling sewer gas for so long. The new camper we took it to get winterized this past winter and they took a piece of trim off and did not even cover the hot water heater back as well, however I wouldn't be to worried about this if we didn't have a baby who is learning to crawl around. I don't normally like to be like this but I will never do business with this place again. I also felt like I was shamed for having another baby by me telling them we needed to upgrade our current unit with the salesmans attitude. I will be taking our business up the road from this place from now on since they helped us way more than this place ever would even try to.

  I tried purchasing a fifth wheel from the Camping World in Grain Valley for around $60,000 through the Costco RV program. I was put in touch with the salesman, Brett. Through our conversation I informed Brett that another store had the same unit for a little less, and asked if they would honor Camping Worlds "Price Match Guarantee" policy. Brett reached out to his Sales Manager, Andy, and he said he could not honor the price match policy, but would offer $1,000 off if I finance through them. Of course I had to discuss this with my wife. So a few days goes by and I contacted Brett to let him know we were ready to pull the trigger and put down the deposit. Brett then informed me that the price on that particular fifth wheel increased by an ASTONISHING $20,000! So now the bait and switch price is over $80,000, due to a "change in the market"! WOW! Being that it had only been a few days gone by, and my Costco Certificate price doesn't expire for a few more weeks, I asked if they honor the price that I was quoted at. Brett said he would talk to his Manager, Andy, and get back to me. And to nobody's surprise, they REFUSED to honor the quoted price or the Costco price, despite my Costco price not set to expire for a few more weeks. So, it's pretty clear that the people at Camping World lack honor. They don't honor their "Price Match" policy, they don't honor the "Costco RV Program" price, and they won't even honor their own quoted price. I was really hoping that with Costco backing Camping World, maybe the purchasing process would be seemless and straight forward, with no BS. But that indeed is NOT the case! In my opinion, Costco needs to end it's partnership with Camping World before the great reputation of Costco is drug down in the mud like the reputation of Camping World. And the sooner they end it, the better.
