  Great Sales Experience, but Room for Improvement in Communication We recently purchased a travel trailer from Camping World in Grain Valley. Overall, we had a very positive experience, especially with our salesman, DV, who absolutely deserves 5 stars! From the beginning, DV was organized, prepared, and attentive to our needs. Before we arrived, he had all the campers we wanted to see unlocked, slides extended, and lights on, ready for us to walk through. He also took the initiative to select a couple of additional campers he thought might interest us. As it turned out, one of those was the camper we ended up purchasing! He was extremely responsive to our questions throughout the buying process and has continued to be just as helpful after the sale. The sales manager was easy to work with, and we felt we received a very good deal. When we arrived for pickup, our camper was clean and ready to go. The delivery walkthrough was thorough, with plenty of time spent explaining setup, teardown, and winterization. When we discovered an issue with one of the speakers, the service team came right out and corrected it. DV's commitment to customer service didn't end when we drove off the lot. When we discovered a missing sewer hose cap, he personally ordered a replacement through his own Amazon account and had it shipped directly to us. That kind of initiative and follow-through is rare and greatly appreciated! The area where Camping World needs improvement is communication and coordination between departments, particularly finance. We own residences in both Kansas and Oklahoma and made it clear that we intended to title and register our camper in Oklahoma. At DV's request, we emailed proof of Oklahoma residency to the finance department before pickup. During signing, I questioned the F&I manager several times about the address and was assured it would not be an issue. Unfortunately, the documents we subsequently received were prepared using our Kansas address and included a Kansas title application. Despite our efforts to address this in advance, the issue remains unresolved and has created unnecessary frustration and follow-up. While this paperwork issue has been disappointing, I don't want it to overshadow the many things Camping World did right. The sales and delivery teams made the experience enjoyable, and DV truly went above and beyond. With better communication and follow-through between departments, this easily would have been a 5-star experience. If you're shopping for a camper at Camping World Grain Valley, I highly recommend asking for DV. He is exceptional at what he does, and we genuinely appreciate everything he did to make our purchase a positive experience!

  Devi was a rockstar. When there was an issue with the price of my RV, he worked with me and definitely had my best interest at heart. He even retrieved my RV from another Camping World and delivered it. I would highly recommend him when you’re looking to purchase an RV.

  Had an issue with my power convertor on an older BBQ trailer. Called over talked to Will, he was friendly answered the Q's I had and I drove over. They matched up the relic model I had with the new crossover updated version and sent me on my way. Installed it hour later we had full power again. Hats off to the tean at this location for all the help..

  I ordered some parts and accessories for my camper online and picked them up here. There was a little bit of wait time because it was only one person working that department. It was worth the wait because they let me install my vent covers in their parking lot.

  I gave these people opportunities to make me feel better about everything but they never even apologized. First they left all the black and gray tanks open with the caps on. On our first camping trip I went to remove the caps to empty the tanks and I received a face full of black water to my face in my eyes, mouth, nose, ears and entire body. So much force it knocked me over. When I reported it to them they claim it is their policy to leave tanks open. IS IT YOUR POLICY TO NOT TELL THE PERSON BUYING THE UNIT THAT THEY ARE OPEN? WHY DID OUR OTHER BRAND NEW RV THAT WE RECENTLY BOUGHT FROM THERE HAVE THE TANKS CLOSED? WHICH RV DID YOU MESS UP YOUR POLICY ON? THE ONE WITH TANKS CLOSED OR OPEN? HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE YOUR BRAND NEW RV? Next, No propane at all when we arrive to our camp site and we have to stop what we're doing to fill propane tanks. Every new RV I have purchased has full propane tanks. They said that it is their policy to not fill the propane tanks. IS IT YOUR POLICY TO NOT TELL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE BUYING THE RV THAT THERE IS NO PROPANE AND THAT THEY SHOULD FILL UP BEFORE THEY GO CAMPING? During our initial walkthrough we pointed out multiple things that needed fixed including broken TV and several other things including the shower bench has never been installed or shipped to us to install as promised. NOTHING WAS FIXED WHEN WE PICKED IT UP AND WE WERE ON A SCHEDULE TO GET TO WHERE WE WERE GOING. LONG STORY SHORT THEY HAD TO SHIP US A NEW TV AND WE HAD TO FIX EVERYTHING ON OUR OWN. I ASKED FOR COMPENSATION FOR GETTING BLACK TANK WASTE IN EVERY ORIFICE OF MY FACE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TELL ME THAT MY TANKS WERE OPEN AND THAT IS UNUSUAL. I ASKED FOR COMPENSATION OF MY TIME TO FIX EVERYTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. DON'T YOU THINK OF FACE FULL OF FECES IS WORTH SOMETHING? NEGLIGENCE NEGLIGENCE NEGLIGENCE. SO DISRESPECTFUL TO SOMEONE WHO HAS PURCHASED ABOUT $300,000 WORTH OF CAMPERS FROM THEM. PLEASE BOYCOTT THESE DISRESPECTFUL MONEY GATHERERS WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY SERVE.
