  Well shoot, lemme set the scene for ya. That store was cleaner’n a whistle on a church pew, and the old-timer workin’ there was friendly as a coonhound waggin’ his tail. But I’m droppin’ two stars on this here review ‘cause the young feller behind the counter looked like one’a them California surfer bros who got lost on his way to the beach and ended up in Kansas by accident. Boy had his lil’ gym-bro chest puffed out, arms stickin’ out like he was smuggling rotisserie chickens under his sleeves, talkin’ all “braaahhh” like he was auditionin’ for a protein shake commercial. And wouldn’t ya know it — he done counted out the drawer before the store was even close to closin’. I stroll in ‘bout fifteen minutes ‘fore quittin’ time, mindin’ my business, pickin’ out what I need. Five minutes ‘fore closin’, I step up to pay, and this sun-kissed barbell philosopher tells me they’re only takin’ card ‘cause he already “closed the drawer.” Said it like he was announcin’ the end of the world. Now listen… I ain’t that old. Every time I say “back in my day,” a little part of my soul packs its bags and threatens to leave. But even back in 2005… 2009… back when I worked for the man instead’a bein’ the man, we weren’t allowed to shut that drawer ‘til three minutes after closin’. Gas station rules were simple: if somebody walked up while you were countin’, you served ‘em. That’s called customer service, not “brah, I already clocked out mentally.” I ain’t askin’ nobody to stay an hour past closin’ like I used to — but dang, son… maybe wait ‘til the store’s actually closed ‘fore you lock down the register like it’s Fort Knox and you’re protectin’ the nation’s supply of pre-workout powder.

  Great customer service, they worked with me to figure out my AC refrigerant charge and saved me on a long road trip!

  Super great experience, both workers were so kind! They took my blades off and installed them for me in the rain. Also gave me a deal where I can get new wipers for a few dollars next year under the warranty (because my last set only lasted a year). Told me to put the reminder in my phone so I'd remember. Really appreciate their thinking ahead and going above and beyond.

  I've yet to have a bad experience at an advance, and several of them throw deals around if they recognize you. This place is no different. Shout out to Andrew for saving my oil change when O'Reillys dropped the ball!

  The manager Oscar took really good care of me on a battery issue. This auto parts store is the only one I go to to service all 4 of my vehicles. John specifically has been helpful over the years with either giving me advice or simply pulling my parts.
