- S2Steven “Aaron” Thierath 2nd3 days ago5.0This is the only advanced i will shop at i was turned down at Washington store and told they only allow 1 warranty on a lifetime warrantied fuel pump so I went to fenton they told me they no longer carry the one I had with the warranty an said I had to pay the difference of the next closest which was a other 90 bucks but the person working got it down to cost 20 bucks more and then let me choose anything in store to make up the 20 instead of believing that " corporate " wpuld send me a check yeah right

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
