Vehicle availability is unreliable, and when vehicles are provided, they are often not adequately cleaned or prepared for use. On multiple occasions, I’ve encountered a lack of follow-through and communication. Most recently, I called in advance needing a vehicle. No inventory was available, which I understand can happen; however, I requested assistance in locating a vehicle at an alternate location and was told I would receive a follow-up. That follow-up never occurred. The overall experience has been inefficient and unnecessarily time consuming. The combination of limited availability, inconsistent vehicle readiness, and weak communication makes the rental process more cumbersome than it should be. I would expect a higher standard of operational execution and customer responsiveness from a national rental provider.
