  This Donbs is the most amazing car repair place I have everr used. I take all my vehicles here as well as all my fleet vehicles. The service is incredible, the staff are amazing. Daryl, Rick and most of all James are focused on the customer and making sure everything is perfect. Mr Dobbs would be proud of wh is representing his name in Ellisville

  Dobbs is absolutely amazing! I’ve always had a great experience here, and the customer service is top-notch. A special shoutout to the manager, James Creasy—he truly goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. He’s professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his team and the service they provide. It’s hard to find this level of customer service anymore. James and the entire Dobbs team have definitely earned my trust and my business. Highly recommend!

  Last time we’ll ever visit a Dobbs! After 17yrs of business, that’s enough. Caught not performing task they claimed to have done, brought in for a new battery, was told it was fine and car literally wouldn’t start in the parking lot, then quoted $609. Took to another place and was replaced for $250. It’s a 20min wait to drop off and then another 20min wait to pick up, feels like a visit to the DMV- painful

  I made an appointment and set my son up with this car to get 2 new tires. They were extremely rude to him. He dropped his car at 8:45 am Saturday. We called at 330 to get his car. They said it wouldn't be done until the next day, after being told, we could pick it up.but they were happy to take my son's $400. This morning and then not fix the car. The manager also lied to us, saying the car was not dropped off. Until 12:30, why would we expect it to be done in 3 hours? When that is not the case, I called the day before. With shitty service like that? They deserve to go out of business.

  I'm leaving One Star because I cannot leave any less. Horrible experience. I asked for the "cheapest" tires for my 2008 car which is nearly 19 years old. Darrell then proceded to give me a "vocabulary correction" saying that they don't sell "cheap tires" but "less expensive" tires. Look I don't need a speech from someone who thinks they are a linquist. It's simply a play on words. I had left my car there all day for an inspection, oil change, two front tires and a few other things which amounted close to $2,000. Then, I discovered that he took it upon himself not to put the "cheapest" tires on it like I had asked but one step above "because they were better". This was not his decision to make yet he called the shots being the manager & all. They never did the headlight restoration that I asked for on my oxidized headlights like I asked for plus check the rattling noise I asked them to check in the rear end. I paid the overpriced bill and drove home and then noticed that they stupidly forgot to put one of the wheel covers back on. So, then, I had to drive all the way back there in rush hour traffic and all I recieved was a weak apology. I suggested maybe a small refund of $20 to cover my time & aggravation of having to drive back and he said he'd give me a coupon for some money off of my next oil change. That's an insult. Spend nearly $2,000 and they caused an inconvenience and even leave off a couple services I asked. I usually go to Ballwin Dobbs and have for years but they were too booked up at the time. I will NEVER go to this Dobbs again. I was actually warned about them beforehand and didn't listen and that is my fault. Then, I looked at all the negative reviews and I get it now.
