Good lord, I pray for them.. I used to get good service but now I have to go to Mercedes of St. Louiswhich I was fully unimpressed with But my experience there with leaving my car unlocked in garage…
But Plaza Service has done that as well.
Reid Vann .. I 💯trust
Far from valuing their customers, they’ve taken the lying automated systems, not answering phone calls, and Curtis today has deferred and claim that he reached out to the warranty company… Continental warranty, which I bought from Plaza… He claims that they denied it. I contact a continental and they said they have no such claim on file unfortunately, I cannot file a claim myself as the policy holder… They said they will replace the faulty parts, but Curtis told them it only needs a software update to correct my faulty breaking system!!! So Plaza wants me to pay hundreds of dollars for faulty software? They’re not even sure that it’s software I’ve seen no evidence that it’s software I’ve seen no diagnostics. I’ve heard nothing and they didn’t even turn in a claim but they told me it was denied and I owe thousands.!!!
Continental says I can take it anywhere else… Well, I guess I’m going back to my trusty Reid Vann.. Sorry, I ever even paid for maintenance at Plaza, which is no longer Plaza by the way
I recently worked with Curtis, the service advisor, and Craig, the service director. Curtis was very nice and helpful throughout the process, while Craig was somewhat helpful but only after I pushed for assistance.
I dropped my car off for several issues, and it sat at the dealership for nearly two weeks with no communication. When they finally told me my car was ready, only one issue had been addressed. They never bothered to communicate that they “couldn’t duplicate” the other problems—when in reality, it seemed like they didn’t even try.
After picking up my car, I realized almost nothing had been done, so I had to immediately turn around and drop it off again for a few more days. To make matters worse, my car has obvious display issues that Craig and Curtis acknowledged but then dismissed by saying “yes, yours is definitely different” and “they’re just designed like that,” which makes no sense at all. Whether it’s laziness, a lack of competent staff, or insufficient equipment, it’s clear this service department is unwilling or incapable of properly addressing vehicle issues.
Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing—poor communication, minimal effort, and an inability to resolve the problems. I expected much better from a Mercedes dealership.
