Mr Khan: My reservation confirmation number 2119384394. Please email me for any further information, I have already wasted 3 hours of my time with Enterprise. If you were serious, you would have tried to hear my customer complaint recorded by your representative over phone at the customer service help line instead of writing a standard reply asking me to run around some more, this time online. Booked my car for pickup at 10am. Reached around 945 am. Met the executive, William, he asked for my driver's license, credit card. Gave these, he verified my booking, said car is available. Then he said I need some time to verify your license as it is from another country. I showed him my passport and also my International Driving Permit. At this point, my experience is that all car rentals go ahead and issue the car. Here NO, he went spoke to the manager. Came back and said I need time to verify the license number. Will take a little while. Then he started hunting for a guide book. Said he didn't find it. Went back to the manager. Came back, hunted for the book again, saw him trash can a guide. I am standing at the counter while all this is going on. He then tells me that the manager is closely following what he is doing and he needs to go by the book. He will ask for the book to be sent to this centre. I sit down and wait. I see a Latina lady and her two children who were waiting before me go and ask if they will get their car soon. They are told something to the extent that they need to wait. An African American man comes in, asks for vehicle. They go back and forth and finally is told that he can't rent. A few Caucasian customers have no issues in getting their cars, one is even offered a ride back. It is now 1030 and I approach him again. I ask him why the book needs to be sent here, why can't he be told what to do over phone. NO, can't be done. Why not get photos of the pages sent over so he knows what to do. NO, he has been told by the manager that he needs to go by the book. At this point, I show the online link where he can access my license number and verify its validity, verify that an International Driving Permit had been issued in against it which I have already given him. NO can't be done. I now suspect that this goes beyond normal issues but ask him how long is the wait. I am told that it will be resolved in 20 min. I tell him that I will have breakfast around the corner and wait for his call. I finish breakfast at 1130, give them a call. Picked up by a lady executive who tells me that some other person is attending to me and that she knows that the guide has not come, so the car cannot be issued as of now. I ask how much longer, again told 20 min. I wait for the call, nothing. I look for other rental agencies and find AVIS/BUDGET next door. I walk over there, am issued a vehicle in under 10 min without even the need for International Permit to be shown. Later in the day, when I find time around 330 pm, I realise that there is not even a courtesy call to update me about the status either way. I can up the Enterprise customer care number and gave them a detailed report of what happened. The person who took the complaint found it difficult to believe that they didn't issue car when IDP and passport were produced. I told her that I suspect something more than just procedure was at work here, maybe my foreign looks or better rates than what I booked for available?? She is profusely apologetic and says they will communicate to the manager for better customer service training. The whole experience left a bad taste as the manager was perhaps behind the whole thing.

Extremely disappointed with Enterprise. We reserved a 15-passenger van well in advance(4 months)for a family trip, only to have our reservation canceled with less than 24 hours notice before leaving on a 14-hour drive.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of communication and honesty. We made multiple calls trying to get answers and were repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. One employee told us the van had broken down, while another family was told their reservation (for the same type of vehicle) was canceled because Enterprise had overbooked.
Because of this, our family was left scrambling at the last minute with no other transportation options available, forcing us to take our personal vehicles on a long trip we had specifically rented the van to avoid.
Completely unacceptable customer service and very poor handling of reservations. We will not trust Enterprise again for future travel plans.

Extremely disappointed with this company, we made reservations to pick up a car Monday morning in Sadelia, MO arriving at location at 8:05 AM and he informed me he had no car's i told him I have a reservation he repeated i have no car's, i left the Sadelia location called corporate and she booked me a car at the Columbia regional airport 86 miles away, I said please confirm they have a vehicle reserved for me and it will be there, she said yes sir it is there, I drove 86 miles and no car's available with a reservation made by corporate, I called them back, they apologized and told me this issue will be resolved immediately sir, she said my supervisor will be calling you shortly, she never called me.
Extremely upset and very disappointed in the service I did not receive.
