  Called late Friday afternoon to report Check Engine light was on. Got appointment at 9 on Monday. Problem was diagnosed and repaired by early afternoon. I appreciated the prompt and efficient service.

  Excellent service and very efficient, I called to see if they had any openings for my vehicle to get inspection and they got me in right away, in less than 30 minutes my vehicle inspection was complete

  Went in to get a flat tire repair and got right in and was out in 45 minutes. Nice staff and they were able to get the vehicle in immediately. Thanks!

  I received exceptional service from the two guys who were working Saturday at the store. I was offered donuts and anything else I needed for my comfort and enjoyment. I was given advice about another vehicle that I’m having some mechanical problems with and that was extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction. And will use them the next time I need any services.

  ⭐ 1-star review I gave my vehicle to Dobbs on Saturday and was advised that it would be ready for collection on Monday. When I arrived on Monday morning, I was told that they could not accept card payments because their internet was down and that I would have to pay in cash. My concern was what would happen after making a cash payment. I asked whether I would receive a receipt, but the manager told me that no receipt could be provided. I was told that the cash would be kept in their safe and that the payment would be updated once the internet was back. I then asked if they could at least provide something in writing confirming that I had paid in cash. I was told that they would not provide that either. When I asked how I could be sure that my payment would later be recorded, the response I received was, “You should have trust in people.” I found this extremely concerning and unprofessional. If a business is unable to process card payments and requires a customer to pay cash, there should still be a clear way to provide proof of payment. Asking a customer to simply “trust” that the payment will be recorded later is not an acceptable substitute for a receipt or written confirmation. The issue is not just the inconvenience of having to pay cash — it is the complete lack of documentation or reassurance that the payment had been received. This experience has seriously affected my confidence in using Dobbs again.
