  Took in riding mower for a diagnostic. After finding out what was wrong, we told them we wanted them to fix it. But they never told us it was first come first serve and that they had at least 5 customers ahead of us they were working on. We dropped the mower off on a Wednesday. We called on Friday and they told us then there were 5 customers ahead of us. Called back on Wednesday and was told they still had 5 customers ahead of us. At that point we chose to go get it. The next morning we went in to pick it up and the gentleman that helped us when we first came in, very nice, turned on us. We could tell he was mad that we were there to pick up our riding mower. His customer service attitude left us saying we would not EVER go back to the Tractor Barn. If they had been up front to begin with in telling us they had 5 customers ahead of us, we wouldn't have left it to begin with. We have to have our riding mower for our business. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to continue waiting for the Tractor Barn to fix. Fortunately, it was a small fix that my husband was able to fix in the end.

  I recently had a frustrating experience with a Toro parts order gone wrong... But, I had an outstanding experience with The Tractor Barn in Brookline, MO. After Toro shipped me the wrong mower deck and their customer service put me through days of frustration, I drove 69 miles each way to drop the deck off here — and it was absolutely worth the trip. From the first call with Alex to the moment I arrived, the entire team was friendly, professional, and genuinely understanding of my situation. Alex took the time to review the photos and video I had provided, immediately confirmed the mismatch, and assured me he would stay on Toro until the refund and correction were handled properly. What stood out most was how seriously they took my issue. No runaround, no excuses — just honest, knowledgeable people who care about doing right by their customers. This is what customer service should look like. I’ll gladly do business with The Tractor Barn again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that treats you with respect and integrity.

  Excellent customer service. Took my weed eater in to get a filter and primer bulb replaced and they did it right on the spot for me. No charge for their labor, just the parts. I had my power washer repaired in the past and their service was great. I would recommend this business to anyone who wants a good service.
