  This was my elderly mom's and my first time at a Maverick, and it will absolutely be our last. We went inside to pre-pay for gas, completely unaware that their system requires you to enter a specific code at the pump to get the fuel you just paid for. Unfortunately, my mom misplaced the receipt on the way out to the car. ​When I went back inside for help, the cashier (a guy with blue eyes) was completely useless and incredibly rude. Instead of looking up our transaction to give us the code or just issuing a refund, he flat-out refused to do either. We were just out of luck. He had a massive attitude, acted like a complete smartass, and kept condescendingly calling me "buddy" the entire time. Do better. I rarley post negative reviews but come on. I know you can go back into the system to tell us the code from our transaction as our gas Had not pumped yet. Idk what the employees problem was. What a stupid system. Kum n Go was better.
