Very disappointed with this Enterprise location. After the check engine light came on in our rental car, we made another reservation online for a replacement vehicle. They told us to go to this location to pick it up. But when we arrived, they refused to help and said they could not change the car, even though they had hundreds of vehicles available. They told us to go back to the original pickup location, even though it was already closed. When we asked who would be responsible if something happened to the engine, they said it was not their responsibility. Very poor customer service and no support for customers.
Honestly, almost all other Enterprise locations have been good in my experience except this one. This location has consistently had problems, and the person working there was rude and biased in the way he treated customers.

The Most Horrible Experience, My Dre Beats Was Left In The Rental Totally My Fought Been Calling Since I Drop The Rental Back Off Don’t Answer The Phone , Finally Had Time To Come Up Here. The Man Told Me The Lost And Found Team Was On A Call And Couldn’t Help Me , I Explained I Will Wait He Walked Back There And Walked Right Back Not Even A Minute Late And Said She Couldn’t Find Them And To Put In A Claim

This place is an oddball in the STL rental car arena, in a good way. I felt welcomed, from the moment I get on the airport shuttle until I drove off the lot. I was greeted at the door walking in the building… literally, an employee was standing there and said “hello, welcome in”. All of the employees were pleasant and professional. I got checked in at the desk and then walked out to the vehicle to make sure I was satisfied with my rental. Excellent customer service.

Great experience overall. Super friendly staff, smooth process, and really really good customer service.
BUT… major issue.
They tried to say my rental had hail dings that happened during my rental period. I never experienced hail, and when I asked, they assured me their inspections are thorough and that it happened while I had the car.
Checked my pre-rental inspection video… damage was already there. So now I’m just waiting on this email they told me to expect from enterprise claims department.. fun stuff. I’m really glad I told them just to bill me and not my insurance because that would have been a whole other nightmare.
This could’ve easily turned into me paying hundreds or even thousands for their mistake. Not cool Enterprise😤
Take videos before you leave the lot. DO NOT rely on their inspections.

The worst customer service. Multiple lies from different managers about vehicle availability and pricing. Ultimately will never get business from me ever again. I am from Saint Louis and unfortunately the company is now extremely poor in every aspect.
In retrospect of the situation, I think I did the right thing by leaving. However I was threatened by the manager to leave because I had "used a for letter word" after the fact I had been lied to then completely denied the ability to rent a vehicle at all. This was after attempting to reserve the vehicle online earlier in the day but wanting a specific vehicle which I was told to visit the location in person to inquire about it by corporate customer service. Also, I had went to 4 other locations and spent a total of 9 hours attempting to supply rent a vehicle.
Instead of stopping to the hateful level of this manager who completely denied me the ability to rent any vehicle, the assistant manager was empathetic with me in some respect and at least tried to make the deal work even with a rate that was $400 over what was shown online. I still would have proceeded. However for 2 weeks I was quoted $3200 for a standard SUV which was $500 more than an exotic vehicle for a two week period. Apparently there was nothing that could be done to match the online price of $1300 or to allow me to rent that specific vehicle which at the time was in the $1700 range which would have been acceptable.
I want to kindly remind these managers that I was a former worker with a senior position in the past and still personally know several members of the executive leadership team and have family in senior management. Therefore, if I had decided to retaliate against them a simple phone call would have determined the future of their employment with Enterprise.
I hope that these managers realize that they were spared out of my kindness and desire to treat others as you would like to be treated. I also think that they should take this as a lesson learned to treat customers with respect and honor their quoted prices, their word, and the customer instead of threatening out of pure hatred.
In the future, actions to other customers such as the way I was treated today overall by the company but specifically by the manager at this location will be the karma or downfall. Not by me but by your own actions. If you choose to continue to treat customers like you did me today by your own actions you will forfeit your job.
Other than posting this review, I wish you no harm in any way but do want to express my frustration and sincerely hope that you better yourself in your actions with the way you handle customers. If you don't like your job, I suggest that you find another career instead.
