  I stopped in for an oil change on a whim because there wasn’t a line (and there rarely isn’t when I pass usually) so I took the opportunity as I was past due for one. I had a sleeping baby in the back and when I told the guy if he could please talk just a little quieter at my window as to not wake my baby, he immediately started to whisper and then went around to the entire staff to let them know there was a sleeping baby. Instead of the usual shouting across bays and loud noises, they whispered between eachother and tried to keep noises to a minimal. And every time a loud noises unexpectedly happened they would grit their teeth and look at me to make sure the baby didn’t wake up. I knew when I arrived there that there was chance my son would be woken up and I took that chance not expecting the entire staff to adjust the way they operate their store to accommodate a sleeping baby. In a world where people rarely go out of their way to accommodate mothers and their babies, having a bunch of mechanics go out of their way to make sure my baby stayed asleep was just so wholesome. Thank you to the staff at Raymore valvoline for going above and beyond in customer service

  Ive always have been treated fairly and service is quick. The young men are always nice and they dont pressure you for any additional service they might recommend service but are not pushy. Thanks for all your help.

  Had a oil change at this location. They broke my dip stick. Now I have a chuck of metal in my engine. They say they are denying my claim. The dip stick was fine before they touch it. It's only been 42 miles since my oil change. Horrible customer service took a week to get back to me. Now I have to pay another shop to fix there mistake. Would not recommend coming here. They to not stand behind there work.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Valvoline. During an oil change, the technician removed my existing, dirty engine air filter and reinstalled that same filter the opposite way from how it was originally installed, with the side containing the accumulated debris facing toward the engine. My vehicle broke down the very same day. I was headed out of state when this happened, and my vehicle broke down on the way after business hours, leaving me stranded in a scary and unfamiliar area. At that time of night, it honestly did not even cross my mind to call Valvoline because I assumed they were closed. I believed my only option was to call a 24/7 mobile mechanic so I could figure out what was wrong with my vehicle and get myself somewhere safe. I ended up having to stay at a motel as well. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that Valvoline admitted fault for how the air filter was installed. However, they have still refused to cover the costs associated with the breakdown because I had a mobile mechanic inspect the vehicle instead of bringing it to a Valvoline location. I did not choose a mobile mechanic for convenience. I was stranded at 8:30 PM while traveling out of state and dealing with an emergency situation. I was in an unfamiliar area and needed immediate assistance. I never imagined that I would need to call Valvoline first simply to ask whether they were open or whether I could have emergency repairs performed, especially when I had no reason to believe they would be available at that hour. I trusted Valvoline to properly handle a basic oil change and maintenance service. Instead, I was left with a broken-down vehicle, an expensive repair bill, motel expenses, and the stress of being stranded while trying to leave the state — despite Valvoline acknowledging that they were at fault. If you come to this location, please be aware that if your vehicle breaks down due to their negligence, you may want to contact Valvoline BEFORE authorizing any emergency repairs or having anyone inspect your vehicle. Even if you are stranded at night, in an unfamiliar area, and need immediate emergency assistance, my experience has been that they will not help cover the cost if you have a mobile mechanic come to you rather than getting the vehicle back to their location. I am extremely disappointed that after admitting fault, Valvoline has chosen to leave me responsible for the expenses caused by this situation. I expected them to stand behind their work, especially under these circumstances, and they have not.
