  We told them another Dobbs said we needed replaced tire pressure sensors on 3 wheels. They said we didn’t. When we picked up the car the sensor were still throwing the same error as before. Nothing has been fixed. They did fix the check engine light though.

  I dropped my car off at 8:00am and asked if it could be ready by 4:00pm. I was told yes. At 2:30 I called and it was the next car. They assured me that it would be ready at 4:00. I called again at 3:55 and they said it was complete....no call from them, no communication that my car had not passed inspection until I got there, so now I have to get the problem corrected and get it reinspected.

  I could write a book about my most recent experience, but my main complaint is that Dobbs' communication is poor. At a minimum, call me every day you have my car and tell me something, even if it's we can't start on it until tomorrow or the next day. And don't say you'll start on the car first thing in the morning, then not touch it all day. You can be too busy to work on my car, but don't tell me you're too busy to spend two minutes calling me with an update. I had a leaky tire that I dropped off Sunday night that wasn't repaired until Wednesday an hour after closing (they stayed open late to finish). I get that sometimes they're busy, but it's not an excuse to treat customers like garbage.

  Dropped my company vehicle off on Friday @ 7am for emissions test, was told will be done same day. Never received a call stating was done. Saturday morning never received a call. I had to call them Saturday around noon and they advised they had not gotten to it yet but should be by end of business day and they would call when completed. I never received a phone call Saturday. I drove by the location and my vehicle was still in the same spot when I dropped off on Friday. I drove there Monday morning and they asked if I wanted to reschedule, why would anyone do that when you already had it 2 days. Giving them a 1 when it should be a 0 is not right. Lack of service, communication, lazy.

  Dobbs has been taking good care of my cars since I moved here in 1987...Prior to that I was a "dealer" person, only keeping cars until the warrantee ran out. I had never had experience with a third party mechanic before. We searched out reliable, close by mechanics and Dobbs was the choice and they have not disappointed all these years. They are close enough for my younger self to walk home, but alas age and arthritis prevents that now. So their shuttle service is a welcome addition to the fine service they provide.
