My recent experience with Tommy's Car Wash has transformed a routine service into an infuriating ordeal, resulting in catastrophic damage to my brand-new 2026 Dodge Ram and an utterly unacceptable corporate response. Within minutes of its first wash, my vehicle emerged with deep, identical scratches marring the entire side, from the front headlight to the rear taillight, a pattern unequivocally identified by St. Cloud Collision Center as consistent with abrasive contact from car wash equipment, estimating repairs north of $10,000. Despite this clear evidence and my exclusive use of Tommy's facilities for both my new Ram and Charger under a monthly membership, their corporate office, with astonishing audacity, issued a form letter flatly denying responsibility, absurdly suggesting the damage was somehow my fault. This blatant disregard for customer accountability, forcing me to bear a $500 insurance deductible for their negligence, is not merely disappointing but a profound betrayal of trust, especially from a business I once perceived as customer-service oriented. Consequently, I am canceling my long-standing membership and have initiated a USAA insurance claim, fully expecting them to recover costs from Tommy's, as this egregious incident has irrevocably shattered my faith in their service and integrity.
