Mitchell and Rodney were so exceptionally helpful and kind. Super seamless process. Both guys were informative and walked me through what was going to happen and gave me realistic timeline from start to finish. We'll be back for all our vehicle window needs. They even put my oil change sticker from my old windshield onto my new one 🤣🤣🤣 that's Attention to detail! Amazing guys! Thank you. Highly recommend.

Had windshield replaced on 2015 gmc Yukon. When tech installed windshield he had to calibrate afterwards. I had a chip plugged into my ODB plug to help prevent lifters activation. Keep the the vehicle in V8 Well when the tech left to calibrate he unplugged my chip without asking it informing me about the process. So when he returned he informed me the vehicle made noises and was driving crappy. I had no idea at the time what process he used to calibrate the vehicle. So after trouble shooting I could not figure out what was wrong. So I had a mechanic get the vehicle. After he plugged into it he informed my I had no compression in cylinder 1. I asked what could cause that he said lifter stuck So I thought ohh no. I googled how Safelite calibrates windshields and wouldn’t you know it. They use the ODB port. So he unplugged my chip without asking and damaged my vehicle. If he would had informed me there is a workaround to drive the vehicle without the lifters engaging. So now Safelite says they have no responsibility to help fix it. As usual the customer gets screwed by a big company. It was my only vehicle. So I had to purchase another vehicle so I could get to work so now I have to cover what ever cost this will be to fix it. The way I see it. It was driving fine when I handed it over. When he handed it back it was non operational. But somehow not their problem. So beware of these horrible people who probably overcharged my insurance to do the job in the first place. Your customer service is horrible. Did I mention this happened on 5-15-26. After multiple non responses it took my insurance to talk to them to get an answer in 6-23-26. So then I emailed the CEO and hear back the next day. Then they had a guy call and argue with me that it’s my fault So good luck if you have issues with your Safelite tech. They are perfect and make no mistakes and the upper management will tell you to get lost and ignore you.

I stopped by Safelite on a Saturday morning - 8:00 AM (no appointment) to see about getting a rock chip repaired. The technician said “Give me 15 minutes, and I’ll have it repaired.” 15 minutes later and my windshield repair was done and looked awesome! Very convenient! I have used Safelite many times in the past and have always been satisfied with their work. Thank You!!!
