  Horrible, horrible company. I wish I could give zero stars. The employees were rude and super pushy to upgrade and because I didn’t upgrade to their insurance, they came at us for damage that occurred before we even rented the car. They claim we scratched the back door, but no one was in the back and no one used the back door. Half the cars on the lot had flat tires and other damage. This company is a joke and I’ll never use them again!

  We flew into Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago to celebrate a 71st birthday. Coming from Texas, we have the opinion we have the market on friendliness. Wasi was the first person we met at the counter of Sixt and he made us feel right at home. Very personal and friendly. We loved the car we rented. And loved Minnesota! Thank you for a great travel experience.

  After an incredibly long day of travel that included multiple flight delays from Chicago to Minneapolis, I arrived exhausted and frustrated. To make matters worse, I had a difficult time locating the rental car terminal and was already at my limit by the time I reached the SIXT counter. That's when I was greeted by Yahya. From the moment I approached the desk, Yahya was professional, patient, and genuinely friendly. He took the time to listen, answered my questions, and worked with me to get into a great vehicle. Even though it was late and I was clearly worn out from my travel experience, he never made me feel rushed and was incredibly accommodating throughout the process. What could have been a stressful end to an already difficult day turned into a very positive experience because of Yahya's outstanding customer service. His attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made a difference and helped ease a lot of the frustration I had been dealing with that evening.

  Be careful renting from SIXT. They will invent damage and create claims against you for cars you never drove. The first car they gave me had a flat tire. Their employees didn’t want to bother with getting me a new one so they pumped up the tire and tried to get me to take it. I refused the car and was given a second car. This one had a service required error. Sixt’s response was to hide the error from settings; again showing a disregard for me or my family’s safety. Upon returning the car I got an all-clear for the rav4 I took. Several hours later they claimed damage against the car which I never drove due to the flat tire. Customer service is unhelpful and unable to help. When I mentioned this to my family my father said they tried the same thing on him in Norway; thankfully he had pictures proving otherwise. I would strongly avoid dealing with these fraudsters

  I had a great experience with Sixt and would definitely rent from them again. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout both the pickup and return process, and everything was straightforward and easy. The rental process was smooth, and getting in and out with the vehicle was quick and hassle-free. One tip for local renters: if you’re picking up a vehicle, use the pickup lanes and park off to the side while completing the process. It makes things even easier and helps keep traffic moving. Overall, a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to use Sixt again for future trips.
