Satellite did an amazing job repairing the crack in my windshield\! It wasn’t a small crack, so I’m honestly amazed by how great it looks\. They saved me nearly $1,400 by preventing me from having to replace the entire windshield\. They were quick, friendly, and absolutely wonderful to work with. I truly appreciate them and highly recommend Satellite!

    1. I wish Safelite would have pre-called / contacted me in advance regarding safety glass as an option, for my new driver's - side window. This would save me hours/ days going to a auto body shop to have a laminated material applied to my glass .... so that next time a criminal smashes my window, the window only crack's, versus exploding in a million pieces. I was not asked this in advance as an option, and did not want to wait another 1-2 week's. 2. "Glue." I cannot roll the window down for 7 days because of glue? I had never heard of that, nor have any family/ friends. Something about a broken piece of plastic in my door? I am worried my window will not work next week, or perhaps window failure in the middle of winter. I think I would have rather waited for a new part, whatever required gluing. 3. I am glad the work was "free" on my end/ insurance coverage.

The experience itself was fine, but holy crap — the VOLUMES...no, TOMES of text messages and emails that you get from their automated system is beyond excessive. They really need to dial it back. At points I was wondering if I had mistakenly put a personal massage device in my pocket... nope, it's just Safelite. They tried to upsell me on windshield wipers that I legitimately didn't need, citing that if there's glass in the wipers it could scratch the new window. If there was glass in the wiper, it wouldn't be THAT difficult to remove it, but even still my wipers were fine and did not need replacing, and furthermore posed no risk of scratching the new window. It's $40 you don't necessarily need to spend. Now if your entire window was shattered, it'd be a different story. But a single crack? Not at all necessary.

Zero stars actually. I put my life in hold from 12-5 as instructed. Then, at 5pm, I stopped waiting. No calls, no texts. I tried calling twice at 4:30. I could not reach a human. Lame. Thrn, as I was out and about after 6pm, the tech called. I dropped what I was doing and hurried home. The tech started but it had started to rain. He said he didn't feel comfortable exposing the door electronics as rhey may potentially get wet. I understand that. I asked if he'd be back in the morning. He said no as I wasn't on the schedule. Wow, Safelite, very unprofessional in so many ways be leary of Safelite and trying o talk to a human.

I decided to replace the windshield on my 2007 Shelby GT just because it was so pitted and "foggy" after having 111,000 miles put on it. My insurance wouldn't cover it under those circumstances, so it was on me to pay for it. I was surprised and pleased with the cost after finding a promo code plus Safelite was running a nice special for their premium service (the windshield, new wipers, and some kind of rain repellant application). The work was done at Safelite's Elm St. Location in Fullerton, CA. I was helped by Francisco and Leo. Two very professional, friendly, and efficient people. It's a very nice shop. Big and clean with a nice waiting area. The work took just a bit over two hours to complete. Looks like they did a perfect job. The only downside was confusion about the price. The confirmation email I received showed a price that was $140 more than what I agreed to when I set up the appointment. The person I spoke with at Safelite for some reason could not confirm my price. After 30 minutes of discussion, she gave up and advised me to contact the shop directly. She gave me the number and we disconnected. Francisco listened to my story, put me on a brief hold, and came back saying he saw the price I was quoted and how I got there. He also found a better promo that saved me another $6.00. Perfect!
