  We used to take our vehicles here until I sent my 16 year old to get her oil changed. I gave her specific instructions on just get the oil changed and text me everything else. She had a coupon pulled up from the corporate website. $15 dollars off. Not only did they make fun of her for her car and declining their “extra” services but a rude woman told her she couldn’t use the coupon. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint and she agreed the coupon should have absolutely been used. We have 3 vehicles and none of them will be going there ever again.

  Always a decent experience at valvoline. They’re personable, they do what you need done, they recommend but don’t pressure you on anything beyond the service you’re there for, and it’s much more convenient than getting any service done at a dealership.

  After driving off after oil change, about 50 min, I needed a tow and a sensor replaced in my car. When I called Valvoline asking if it could be something from the oil change, the manager started yelling at me telling me he told me if I didn't get my air filter replaced that my car might shut down. I told him he said get it replaced asap not that my car would shut down. He was blatantly lying. And immediately. He mentioned they have cameras, and I said great, if it has audio, please pull them up. It was very unprofessional and odd behavior, especially since the mechanic I spoke with (after getting my car towed) said the air filter just needs replacing next time I'm in and wouldn't affect my car like that.

  Wife got the oil changed in our 2018 tiguan 3+weeks ago. Went to open the hood to check oil and other fluids and noticed they never put my engine cover back on as they remove it to access the oil filter. I know it was on my engine before the service as I check fluids every couple weeks. Called customer care and they said they called the store, did not see anything in lost and found, but they were busy and to call back Monday. If it was missed by mistake, why wouldn't they have called when someone noticed an extra cover in the shop? They have my number on file because we exclusively use them for oil service. Furthermore, they did not have oil filters in stock for this model and told my wife that the current filter "looked good enough" to run for another service interval. I looked at the invoice and noticed that not only did they charge me for an oil filter, they added a premium filter surcharge. Really? Never again.
