The other places gave us a generic answer and didn't really help, or what they said to do didn't fix it. It. My wife and I took it here. They ran the diagnostic test, shared their thoughts. Then we spoke with the manager and he took the time to come back out to our car and take a look for any other warning signs of other problems it could potentially be. He shared his thoughts and we took his advice and it ended up solving the problem and saving us hundreds of dollars from what the other places told us. It's nice to see there's people in the world that actually care about other people and the customers and not just trying to make an extra Buck. I definitely appreciate the extra time that they took that they did not have to and the extra care they showed that they didn't have to and most other places didn't, they just brushed us off at the other auto parts shops. The only thing I'm sad about is that we were just in town for a few days, had we lived nearby. This is definitely the place we would be coming back to every time we needed parts for our car.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
