Insurance rental. Was told what a price would be for intermediate SUV. Got there and was "upgraded" to a vehicle that was significantly more expensive then quoted price. Complained and got a vehicle that was back down to around the original quoted price. Was emailed rental agreement with stated price. Not my ideal vehicle but price was most important to me. Vehicle was clean and ran fine. However, when I turned vehicle in my insurance company was billed at a significantly higher price then my quoted price. Fraud? When I complained was told they would have accounting department work with insurance company to correct price. On follow up to verify correction I was told they wouldn't provide me anything further since the billing was to my insurance company and not me.

The whole process was fast and easy. They brought the car to me and the paperwork was all digital.

This was one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve ever had. The vehicle I was given was in very poor condition. The engine made loud cracking and unusual noises, the car felt extremely worn out, and it struggled to accelerate properly. I did not feel comfortable or confident driving this vehicle. The customer service experience was just as disappointing. The representatives seemed more focused on receiving the insurance payment than actually helping me as a customer. I was promised certain things over the phone, but when it came time to honor those promises, they refused to provide what had been agreed upon. A rental company should make sure its vehicles are properly inspected, maintained, and safe before giving them to customers. They should also stand behind the promises made by their representatives instead of changing the terms after the customer arrives. I expected a safe, reliable vehicle and professional customer service. Unfortunately, I received neither. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this rental company based on my experience.
