  Is one of the best washes to get. And most places their drying is terrible but at Tommy's it's at least better.

  I have been a member for months, no issues or complaints up until last week when the wash ripped half of my rear bumper off and left damage to the paint. I am now missing the clips to reattach it and had to have someone else come with duct tape to help me. Was told the manager would reach out within 7 days and when I called ahead of time was told that they do not cover any vehicles over 10 years old (manager got the policy wrong, their website actually states 15 years or older) and there was nothing they could do for me besides extend my membership which I would not be able to use with my car in the state it is in.

  This location always has a problem of randomly shutting down for issues or you go through and there’s still soap all over your vehicle. When you bring it up it’s, we’re waiting on a part. Come on Tommy’s get your crap together. If you can’t provide a wash as advertised then why are you letting vehicles go through the wash. It’s always some young kid with an attitude problem. I never say anything just smile and think to myself here we go again.

  To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at Tommy's Express Car Wash on 8th St. S. in Moorhead, Minnesota, on June 25, 2026 at around 8.20pm. On that date, there were people outside advertising a free car wash. I entered the property intending only to receive the advertised free car wash. There were no clear instructions indicating which lane customers participating in the fundraiser should use. When I arrived at the gate, I was assisted by an employee named Keyton. I clearly informed him that I only wanted the free car wash and that I might consider joining TommyClub at a later date. During our interaction, he asked whether I was "mad," which I found to be unprofessional and inappropriate. He kept my vehicle at the gate for several minutes while entering information into the computer. I became concerned that he was attempting to enroll me in TommyClub despite my explicit statement that I did not wish to sign up. I again made it clear that I did not consent to any membership enrollment. While my vehicle was still in the wash, I received a "Welcome to TommyClub" email. This indicated that I had been enrolled without my knowledge or authorization, despite my expressly declining membership. After exiting the wash, I returned to speak with the employees. Another employee initially confirmed that I had been enrolled, then immediately stated that I had not been enrolled, providing contradictory information. I requested to speak with the manager, Al. Before allowing me to explain my concerns, Al stated that Keyton was his "best employee." Rather than listening to my complaint or attempting to investigate what had occurred, he threatened to call the police. I found this response inappropriate and dismissive, particularly as I was attempting to resolve what appeared to be an unauthorized enrollment using my personal information. Based on my experience and after reviewing other customer reviews describing similar concerns, I am requesting that Tommy's Express conduct a thorough investigation into this incident. Specifically, I request: A review of all surveillance footage and point-of-sale records from my visit on June 25, 2026. An investigation into how a TommyClub membership was created after I expressly declined enrollment. Written confirmation of whether any membership was created, what personal information was used, and whether it has been fully canceled. Assurance that none of my payment information or personal information will be retained or used without my authorization. Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and the time required to address this matter. A written response detailing the findings of your investigation and any corrective actions taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. If my personal information was used to create a membership without my authorization, I expect Tommy's Express to investigate the matter thoroughly and advise me of the outcome, which should be the immediate termination of Al and Keyton. I request a response within 24 hours acknowledging receipt of this complaint and advising me of the next steps in your investigation. Sincerely.

  I have a membership for the "Super" wash. It gets the job done, although it can take two trips to get the harder gunk off. What is frustrating is the wash has a tendency to snag on any rear wipers and snap them off. I notified an employee, who said they couldn't find it and that they don't cover lost wiper blades. So now I have to purchase a replacement. Considering ending my subscription after this month because it is the third time it has happened. Overall, it's a decent wash, but be aware of the risks.
