I had my vehicle looked at for a bad VVT actuator. Initially it was not scheduled to be repaired yesterday but they were able to do the repair, and while I was quoted a higher price, I paid less than quoted. Best overall experience I have had with an auto repair, would recommend.

Johnsons Auto Repair was amazing! My car broke down on I-29 and I had my car towed there based on their reviews and I’m so glad I did! We got there late in the day so they called ahead to a hotel and drove us over, and Dennis had the alternator and battery replaced by checkout. They were so kind and helpful - Eileen even helped bandage up a kid owie. Super grateful for their whole staff - highly recommend!

I want to share the excellent service I received. These are honest people, and I will definitely bring my car back to them again.
I brought my car in because I believed the transmission had failed. The car was not drivable, and I was expecting to spend somewhere between $8,500 and $9,000 to have it repaired. I had considered taking it somewhere cheaper, but I am extremely glad I did not.
After inspecting the car, they found that the transmission was not the problem. The issue was that the axles had broken. Instead of an $8,500–$9,000 repair bill, the total repair cost was only about $1,600.
In a world where it can sometimes be difficult to know who you can trust, I am extremely grateful for their honesty. They could have easily taken advantage of the fact that I was already expecting a much larger repair bill, but they did not.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, trustworthy, and professional auto service. I would give them 10 stars if I could, but since I can only give 5, they definitely deserve all 5 stars!
These guys were awesome! My daughter had a tire issue on her way back to school and they facilitated the towing and fixed her up and back on the road. They were very communicative and willing to help her out. I would highly recommend them.
Can't speak well enough of Johnson's auto repair. My transmission was acting up and was expecting to have to rebuild my transmission or junk the truck. Already had another pickup picked out. Ended up being a TP sensor. Saved me thousands. 24 year old avalanche with 299,000 miles is revived. Going in for a few other preventative measures. Hope to get a few more years out of the truck. Price and timeframe for diagnosis and repair was reasonable.
