  I really enjoyed my Volkswagen rental from SIXT. My car broke down and I needed something reliable to get me to and from work and what I got was a beautiful car that has an awesome sound system. It even got me looking into getting a Volkswagen! Keyona was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire check in process. She answered all my questions honestly and thoroughly and I left feeling secure about the coming days in my rental car. I could tell she’s really good at what she does! The other staff member (didn’t catch his name) that saw me out the garage door and ensured I was comfortable in the car before hitting the road was very helpful too. It was an enjoyable fair well before entering the busy Minneapolis street. I would definitely choose SIXT again in the future for my car rental needs!

  READ THIS BEFORE RENTING Our experience renting a vehicle for a trip to Iowa was unnecessarily difficult. We were initially told that debit cards are not accepted for local renters. Although an exception was made, it came with extensive requirements, including 2 forms of identification, utility bills, a lease agreement, and a $300 security deposit. Additionally, we were required to pay for a $16/day add-on despite already purchasing protection coverage at approximately $33/day. This created the impression of excessive and redundant charges. Our total started at $331, we ended paying $705 for the entire transaction... While the clerk provided excellent customer service and handled the situation professionally, the overall rental process was overly restrictive and costly. It ruined our day.. Based on this experience, we would not choose to rent from this company again.

  The staff was incredible and they made my pickup and drop off experience effortless for me. They even called me the day of pick up to ensure I knew what would be needed upon pick up. Thank you, SIXT!

  This place needs help, I reserved online then was told they couldn't find it so its gonna be almost 100$ more (yes I had the confirmation email). Then the car, holy POS. Crack in windshield (small but still shouldnt have one on a rental), back seats were soaked in what I'm guessing was dirty body fluid because it smelled so bad and was white coated, left turn signal didn't stay on, tabs were outta date (got pulled over 2x) thankfully cops were nice but still added almost 2 hrs on my ride. And radio and navigation only sometimes worked . I took the car because I had to go outta town and nobody else was open on a Saturday. The manager did call me and offered to fix my rate but it still was way overpriced at $531 for 7 days. Especially with all the issues I had. I should've never kept it. I shouldve been refunded and apologies but instead they charged me a late fee because they have no key drop box, so I had to pay for an additional day because I dropped it at 7pm Seems unfair again. Don't recommend at all. Oh and a way overpriced depsoit (300$) when I had a CC, I understand with a debit card but not CC. I hope they see this.and call me to fix it , if they do. Ill update this accordingly. If not, literally run away from here.
