The technician installed my windshield in 30 minutes. He wiped down my dashboard and vacuumed my front seats and floor mats. And he was very friendly.

Appointment time: 9.30 am. Reached there a few minutes before, but no place to park the car. Took a while to find a spot on the street, then went into the store. At the counter at 9.33 and the guy at front desk says we can't accept your car as it's past 9.30 and now we are full. I asked would not have been full at 9.29? He says yes at 9.29 he would have accepted it. For a $2000 ticket item, this is the absolute worst customer service. It's a reflection of how less valuable their customers are for them.

We have a collector 1989 Chevy Camaro IROC that has been in storage for several years. We recently decided to bring it back out and start restoring it. When we took it out of storage, we discovered a crack across the windshield, so I scheduled an appointment with Safelite. I've used Safelite in the past and have always had a good experience, which is why I chose them again. Because of the age of the vehicle, I was asked to bring it into the shop rather than have the work done at home. No problem. My first visit was actually a great experience. The employees were polite and professional, and the technician even pointed out an imperfection he noticed in the replacement glass. Since the original windshield had already been removed, he installed it and we scheduled a warranty replacement for today. Onto today's appointment... We had very recently had the interior of this vehicle professionally detailed. The carpets were still slightly damp, so I had intentionally left the floor mats at home. I also was not wearing shoes while sitting in the car because I did not want to track anything onto the freshly cleaned carpet. When I handed the keys to the front desk employee, I specifically said, "The mats are not in the car, so no shoes on the carpet." I fully expected a professional automotive business to simply put down a paper floor protector, use a seat/floor cover, or provide shoe covers. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. The front desk employee acknowledged my request and wrote "no shoes" on the work order. Then I could hear him go into the shop and tell the technician what I had requested. What happened next was absolutely unbelievable. Instead of handling the request professionally, the technician began openly mocking and complaining about me and my request. I could clearly hear everything from the lobby. I heard him saying that my request was ridiculous, that he was absolutely not taking his shoes off, and that he didn't know what I expected from him but he wasn't doing it. I'm not generally one to stay quiet so at that point, I opened the shop door and told the technician, in a raised but controlled voice, that he would either put shoe covers on, take his shoes off, or he would not be driving my vehicle. I did not scream at him. I did not yell at him. I used my authoritative mom voice on him. I was understandably angry after hearing an employee openly ridicule my request instead of simply handling it professionally. Both the tech and front desk gentleman looked rather surprise to see me speaking up. I do not believe they knew I could hear their every word. Rather than addressing the employee's completely inappropriate behavior, the front desk employee came over and told me that because I was "yelling at his techs," I needed to leave. Personally, I believe this was done more out of embarrassment for being caught talking negatively about your customers than the fact that I was "yelling". Trust me, that was not me yelling sir... So I left. And honestly, I'm glad I did. I told them I would happily take my business somewhere else. I also told the front desk employee that if his technicians were going to talk about customers, they should at least have the professionalism and common sense to do it somewhere the customer can't hear them. Then I told them to amp;@! off and I left. SafeLite has officially lost our business. Hopefully yours too.

Came into the shop to have my windshield replaced. (I think my home was out of their service area for mobile service). Was quoted approximately two hours to complete and was in and out in about an hour. I had my front wipers replaced as well, and windshield appeared to be installed well (no noises, streaks, etc) and very clean. My vehicle doesn’t have built-in cameras so that wasn’t a concern. Tech came and discussed the job with me and was friendly and professional. Insurance handled the payment.

Just had my windshield replaced . They came to my house and completed the job on time and the technician took time to let me know the steps he would be doing including a test drive to check safety features after replacing the windshield
