  they close at 7 o'clock I got there at 6:18 seen another white lady pulling in. They took her and told me they was closing because I was black and they couldn't. They didn't have enough staff to serve, but we pulled in at the same time. I feel like that's discrimination.

  It was a 95 degree day but the staff did let it bother them. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. Checked everything and got me out and running in record time!

  Once I got into the service bay customer service was excellent. They kept me informed the whole time. I was looking for just an oil change, no aggressive up selling. The only improvement I could suggest is monitoring the lines outside. There were 2 lines. When the bay in front of my line opened up I let the car in the other line go in because they were there before me. When the bay in front of the other line opened up a car that arived after me went right in. I've been at there locations where when that happens, an employee directs those waiting so the person there longest is taken next.

  I just had a fantastic experience at Valvoline in Golden Valley. While I was waiting for the car ahead of me the attendant ran me through the paces of blinkers, wipers, brake lights Thanks, Jaylen! Once I got in, the tire pressure was measured And Jared helped replace a cover on my cabin air filter which required that he do acrobatics to reach. Everybody was really helpful and professional without any unnecessary upsell. I spoke to the manager, Roy, on my way out and told him of my experience and he said, “I’m real proud of my guys.” I highly recommend this place! I hope this is indicative of any Valvoline shop.
