  Had to have my car towed to this shop after being told over the phone that they could diagnose and repair it the same day. After paying to have the vehicle towed there, I was informed that they could not fix the car after all. An employee even stated that “the person who answers the phone just says whatever,” which was extremely frustrating to hear. Because we relied on the information they gave us, my fiancé and I were left stranded late in the day when many other repair shops were already closing.

  I went into the CarX in Golden Valley, MN for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. No one was in the lobby and it didn't have many cars in shop. It took Roger, the manager, over five minutes to get me signed in (I've been here many times. I was told the service would be about 45 minutes and it would be ready. I was going to walk to a nearby business. I returned in 45 minutes and was told that they were waiting for a oil filter to arrive at 4:17 which came and went. Roger called the delivery service and was told they didn't have a driver. I told Roger that he needed to go and pick it up and he did. This 45 minute job turned into an hour and a half. Roger took no account ability for there not being a filter in shop for my Honda Accord and he is the one whom I booked the appointment with and who is in charge of making sure parts are in the shop. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and was told I already had a discount (I had a coupon for a standard oil change and tire rotation for $29.99) and in the end the bill was $45 and no discount for their mistake and me being inconvenienced for an extra 45 minutes. I will not return to this location.

  Hundred percent hands-down do not go to this place I remember one and break inspection was free first off. They charge me $104 for the brakes and on top of that when I brought it in I brought it in for the front end I was having some shaking with the wheel that was the first thing I mentioned to them and they said OK it’ll be $104 to check it out. They told me everything looked fine. It was just the brakes now what I want you to do is keep in mind I’ve been going with them for over 20 years. There’s only one person there left from everybody else that used to work there with that being said I didn’t have a problem before Covid. It seemed like after Covid everybody have do everything so now back to what I was saying I got the brake fixed pads and rollers like they said, still had the exact same problem went back to them and told him I had the exact same problem you told me even after I had to spend all that money on brake pads and rollers he said well we could take another look at it. It’ll be additional $104. I told him to kick rocks I will never go there again ever.🤬😢

  I highly recommend this mechanic and I am a returning customer. I do most of my work at home, but when there's something I can't get to or is over my head, I'll drive/tow my vehicles to their shop. These guys are upfront, reasonably priced, and will give you a fair shake. James and the rest of the mechanics are top notch!
