  I cannot say enough good things about Alina Nguyen at Borton Volvo. I purchased a 2026 Volvo XC40, and having negotiated with other dealers earlier in my search, I walked in expecting the usual runaround. Alina was the opposite from the very first email. She answered every question I asked in detail, provided clear and itemized pricing in writing when others would only speak in vague numbers, and gave me the room to make my own decision without a single moment of pressure. Her communication was prompt and honest at every stage. When it came time to finalize, she stayed well past her working hours to make sure everything was done properly, and she kept me informed right through the financing so there were no surprises. She never made me feel like a transaction. She treated me like a person, down to considerate gestures at delivery when she matched an accessory to my car's exterior color and chose a license plate that spelled out my name. If you are shopping for a Volvo, I would go out of my way to work with Alina. She is professional, transparent, patient, and genuinely kind, and she earned every word of this review.   Had my husband take my vehicle in He waited four hours for them to come back and say nothing is wrong. There’s no engine light. They can’t hear the sound that we are complaining about. I took it to Honda the same night And clearly Borton Didn’t even take time to look into it. They did not run any test like they said that they did. I don’t even think that they test drove it.. Do not go here if you have a Volvo I suggest you finding another Volvo. These people are not trustworthy.

  Gretchen is the absolute best! We have purchased 2 cars with her. She consistently goes above and beyond - she even came in on her day off to assist us with completing our latest purchase. She is responsive to questions, addresses concerns immediately, and is honest and true to her word. She genuinely wants you to find the right fit in a car. I cannot recommend her enough!   Thought I'd put this out there to keep everyone informed. My friend a 70 year old lady from Mpls. Mn. bought a used 2007 BMW 328xi wagon from Borton on 5/6/26; 140,000 miles for $5000+tax/lic. I was not with her at time of purchase, though I wish I was. On 6/6/26 after her purchase and reading the CarFax report; I took her out to BMW Motorworks in Minnetonka to have the car's history reviewed. This is the cars original place of purchase and where the original owner kept it in top shape for 19 years. On 3/11/26 Motorworks gave the original owner list of repairs needing attention totaling to over $6000, most were declined including a $4000 oil pan gasket replacement, $2000 in rear brake & alignment work. Which both were deemed needing attention soon. Then on 4/20/26 Borton Volvo assumed possession of the vehicle. On 4/23/26 Borton brought the vehicle to Motorworks and was informed all repairs as per original owner had been. On 5/6/26 my friend was sold the vehicle at high market value; top on these cars $4500-$6000 depending on mileage and service history. This car needing $8000 in service, was sold to her for $5000. Was this fair?

  We came into Borton Volvo with an idea of what my husband and I were looking for but were unsure of the direction we wanted to go in terms of cars. We are so fortunate to have been able to work with Alina!!!! She made the whole process feel so easy and no added pressure in the process. She was and is so knowledgeable about the products she is selling and stands behind the brand she's representing! She was so relatable and kind and allowed us to test out some options until we found the one. It's not common to come into a dealership and encounter this type of genuine people anymore- such a breath of fresh air!!!! Alina goes far beyond what you would expect a sales person to. We were able to text her any time we had questions and she was always so quick to respond or do research when she didn't have the answers right away. She is so much more than someone in sales, it felt like she was a genuine person and friend. We loved buying from Alina! The whole process with her was quick, efficient, and we got lots of education on the EX30 Cross Country Ultra! We already had one Volvo and were so excited to add another to make a matching collection. Thank you Alina and thank you Borton Volvo for having such an amazing saleslady and person representing the Volvo brand!
