  Awesome team, all employees were helpful, efficient and pleasant to deal with. Seems like they have fun too, and don’t hate their job.

  Went there for an oil change today. They didnt have my oil filter! (They didnt have my brother's truck filter the last time he went a few months ago too..) I went down the street and bought one and came back. They proceeded to do my oil change. The guy almost put in the wrong oil cause he wasn't paying attention to which car was in each bay! Once the oil change was complete, I pulled off and they forgot to put my engine cover thing back on! Good thing they stopped me. As I helped him I happened to look under and my under shield was hanging as well. They didnt put the screws and zip ties back in to keep it up in place! That weather protectant shield is almost $300 ! I will not be back.

  Had a great experience at the Forest Lake location! The workers were professional and worked well together. I went around 6 pm on a Monday so I was in and out easy.

  I have had a couple of bad experiences at Valvoline. A few years ago I brought my work van in for an oil change and tire rotation. The next day my brakes went out due to a crimped brake line that was leaking fluid. Most recently I planned on changing my own oil and filter which I have done many times over the past 50 years. The previous oil change was done at Valvoline, this time I chose to change it myself. I jacked up the car, drained the oil, but couldn't loosen up the oil filter. I tried 3 different filter wrenches with no luck. A mechanic neighbor came over with a wrench that he guaranteed would work and he could not budge the filter. So I put the dirty oil back into my vehicle. Drove to Valvoline and expressed my concern and went ahead and had them change the oil and filter for $106 on a small Mitsubishi however the Valvoline tech also struggled to remove. They checked my service history to see who installed the filter which was done by someone named Dennis who no longer was an employee which is a good thing. I would have hoped for a bit of a discount to compensate for the trouble and frustration but none was offered. I will no longer be a Valvoline customer.

  Overpriced compared to other shops in the area. Had 8 employees working and most were standing around not doing much if anything, perhaps that’s why prices are high. Didn’t seem like there was a manger present. The gal who greeted me was incredibly rude. College aged kids with attitudes probably aren’t the best for a business like this.
