  Camping World is this an acceptable install of a B&w turnover hitch install on a truck that still has temp tags. Originally charged 2300.. labor cost mistake only 1880 at pickup (first red flag $500 upcharge) this did inlude the hitch at 750, 650 everywhere else but mark up for "quality and all" "professional install". Then see this "professional install" and 450 back for the botch job that took place on my new to me 30k mile truck!! Dropped off at 9:01 at open and had to call at 4pm before close at 5 to make sure I didn't need to make arrangements... its ready... (assuming they were waiting on the jb weld to cure) just to come pick up and see this... I could have hired uncle Bufords crack head son for this job and he'd prolly only charge me 50 bucks!!! Very disappointed... if i knew this was how it was going to be i would have done it myself and bought the hitch $100 cheaper!!! Didn't even have time to look everything over (the wheel well liner that looks like a 3rd grader cutting construction paper). Now I i got to buy a new liner and trim not cut it right, fix the bs jb weld crap and fill the gap thats "supposed to be there" which include reinstalling the bedliner also probably get under the truck and make sure everything is torqued to spec before I leave on a 1300 mile trip in a week because im not sure the integrity was there on this job... better safe than sorry!!! Looks like yall may be recieving a labor bill from me for doing yalls job to make sure this truck is safe and looks as good or better than it did whaen it arrived... I charge more than camping world by the way... this is completely unacceptable... whoever installed MY hitch dont need to be in the shop without supervision!!! Updated did get under the truck to check torque spec and nothing was to spec and watch the last video

  Travis was great to work with!! He communicated well and even reached out when a camper came that was like one we were interested in but sold. He was great helping us make sure we were hooked up and ready to head home. Great place!

  After calling and speaking to Jake in service I felt reassured that I came to the right place. I made an appointment, showed up before they opened. I had two hydraulic lines that support my landing gear jacks. Jake contacted my extended warranty program and after further conversation they agreed to replace the lines. The mechanic working to replace the lines continued throughout the day. They were replaced in one day. Thank you Jake And Thank you Camping World

  Brand new camper, zero quality control, and fraudulent repair claims - purchased a brand-new 2025 Heartland Pioneer camper off the showroom floor in June 2025 from Camping World. In the 16 months I have owned it, I have only been able to use it twice due to a nightmare of unresolved service issues and broken promises.The First Repair Attempt:Right after delivery, I noticed several issues: spinning storage locks, a cracked light fixture, a missing electrical plug cover, and rust on the frame and ball hitch. On our first trip, the hot water heater flooded the electrical area due to an unopen valve. I dropped the camper off in early October. They held it past Christmas, charged me $100 to winterize it since they took so long, and told me everything on the list was fixed. It went straight to winter storage. The Second Failure: On our first trip the following season, we discovered absolutely nothing had been fixed. The plug cover was missing, the hot water still didn't work, and all three tank sensors were completely broken. When I called for help, a Good Sam technician looked at the service history and was embarrassed. He explicitly confirmed that the service team never replaced the motherboard and completely failed to test the system before returning it to me. The Management Bullying: After driving three hours one way to drop it off a second time, they tried to force me to pay a $200 extended warranty deductible for items they failed to fix the first time. Nobody mentioned a deductible until they emailed me the final invoice. I had to fight management (including Jake S.) for a week. He argued with me, dismissed the issues by saying a camper is just a "house on wheels," and aggressively tried to force me to pay for things that should have been covered.Save yourself the massive headache, the wasted money, and the hundreds of miles of driving. Do not buy from this location. Their service department does not test their work, and their management will try to bully you into paying for their mistakes.
