- JBJennifer Brandabur5 days ago5.0They have a wonderful team to make this a one-stop shop. They have a lovely dining room with good dinner, then you can stay at their bunk house the night before so you can get an early start the next morning. It is roughly a 2-3 hour paddle to the first portage and to get to the non-motorized area. We opted for the tow in so we could get into the back country. It is more expensive than some of the outfitters in town, and was worth the extra because of how easy they made it for us first timers. Dave's advice of a route and his help with lures and fishing made it even more fun. I highly recommend!
- DGDoris GravesJul 15, 20265.0These guys are heroes! They rescued people from the wildfires sweeping through the area. They showed up at the back bay portage when the fires started jumping islands and pulled people out. They hauled our gear and canoes over the portage after we were exhausted from battling the winds. They organized getting us onto their boats and leaving our gear so there was more room to rescue people on the way. Joseph, our boat driver, was gracious, knowledgeable and personable. We stopped to rescue a large group of teenage girls and he remained calm and unfazed by the chaos. It was a harrowing experience and I’m not sure where we would be without them.

Ate breakfast before our trip and the food was great. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.
