  Took my bike to Special Ed Custom's love the performance of the stereo system and all the cicada that are in the bike, had no problem with the bike in Sturgis. love seeing cicada Trike. I guess somebody bought it. It was a great great purchase for that person going around showing his trike purchase. If you need something built, right, come to Special Ed. Ps I've been coming to Special Ed for the last five years.

  I’ve been into Special Edd Kustoms a handful of times and I can confidently say this is a great shop. Super friendly workers and the work they do is impressive. The bikes look and sound awesome. Highly recommend.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time around Aaron and the Special Edd Kustoms team, both at the shop and recently in Sturgis. What I’ve personally seen is a team that puts a ton of time into their customers, answers questions, works through problems and genuinely cares about the bikes they build and the people they build them for. I’ve also been present for some pretty significant customer conversations and transactions, and my experience has been the complete opposite of some of what I’ve seen posted recently. There are always two sides to every situation, but based on what I’ve personally witnessed, Aaron and the Special Edd team have been professional, willing to communicate and willing to work toward solutions. Five stars from me. The quality of the builds speaks for itself, but the people behind them are a big part of what makes Special Edd Kustoms what it is.

  I saw firsthand how this shop OWNER treated my buddy, and honestly, I was shocked. Considering the amount of money he spent, I would have expected the customer service and communication to be top-notch. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The lack of communication, follow-through, and overall effort was very disappointing. Based on what I witnessed, I could not recommend this shop to anyone.

  BUYER BEWARE — MY EXPERIENCE WITH AARON HOWELL I purchased a motorcycle from Aaron Howell, and unfortunately my experience changed dramatically once payment was made. Before he received the check, the customer service was great. Once he had the money, it was a completely different experience. I discovered numerous problems with the motorcycle, and Aaron told me he would take care of them. In my experience, those promises were not kept. I have repeatedly tried contacting him about the problems. Text messages have gone unanswered, I've been ignored, and the issues he said he would address still have not been taken care of. Based on my experience, I would not trust verbal promises from Aaron and I would never do business with him again. If you're considering purchasing something from him, get absolutely everything in writing before handing over your money. Great service until the check clears — then, in my experience, the customer service disappears. Buyer beware.
