I can't quite comment on the quality of their work this time because my experience with them didn't even make it that far. I had a rock hit the windshield on my work vehicle and promptly scheduled a mobile repair (full replacement due to the severity of the damage) the for the next day for the afternoon slot (I also prepaid for this in the hopes that they would actually show up). They gave me a window of five hours in the afternoon in which they would show up to do the approximately two hour repair. 4:30 rolls around and I'm on overtime now still waiting for a technician to show up, then I receive a call from the tech saying he's wrapping up his previous job somewhere in Iron Range and he's going to make his way to me (I'm in Superior). I tell him that is not going to work for me and we need to set up another date or get a refund rolling.
I then start a conversation with the manager trying to expedite this repair due to their falling through with the scheduled appointment. No offered discount, no priority for scheduling, nothing. This pisses me off so badly I then start getting quotes from other auto glass repair shops and it turns out they can do sooner and cheaper. I take the refund option from Safelite and take my business elsewhere.
I've used Safelite before and they did great work, but after this experience, I'll never be using or recommending them to anyone again. Use SGI autoglass or Zenith autoglass if you want to be respected and not taken advantage of.

I went in to get my windshield replaced due to cracks that occurred when they installed. They refused to stand behind there installation, water leaked in over the winter which caused the damage very apparent and was less then a year and I didn't even drive the vehicle, I would never refer this company to anyone.

They advertise they are the best at recalibrating windshield...wrong! Worked fine until they got my car. They came out, couldn't recalibrate, took it to their shop. 2 hours and they couldn't recalibrate. They were in the shop laughing, husband finally said something to the desk man, manager came out and said, "yes we are laughing, but we can't calibrate it so we are waiting for an outside company ". Ok fine come out and let the customer know what's going on. It's called good customer service. This is the second time I've had a bad experience with safelite. I won't go with them again.
Had to take it to a Ford dealership.

Sat there for 3 hours and they couldn't connect to Nashville for calibration. This stuff happens I guess. But. Nobody told me this, I just sat there and sat there and sat there. When I finally asked about my vehicle status, the manager was confrontational and rude. Ended up rescheduling for 9am Monday. They pulled my vehicle in at 9:24. Of course they did. Zero respect for other people's time. BOTH times I was there (mind you I left for a long as possible) multiple people came in with residual issues from their installs and repairs. Also there are chards of glass all over my dash. This is a poorly run operation. Period. Try Zenith imo.

Absolutely terrible service from this location. I had a scheduled appointment that was canceled the day prior due to the tech not being experienced in the vehicles make/model. I understood so we rescheduled for the following week at an agreed upon time. When I got to the location the staff on site where rude, and turned me away because they where "too busy and couldn't squeeze me in". When I explained that the manager on site named Ben is the one that called me and agreed on the time to drop off my vehicle, the employee badmouthed the "interim manager that did all kinds of things he shouldn't have done". Sounds to me like the Ben had a sense for customer service that this location is lacking.
