  $300 in damages and they don't take responsibility for their work. They cross threaded my oil filter and damaged the threaded spindle. Blew oil all over the car. Didn't offer to pay for a wash and customer care says it's not their problem (local franchise manager's call). Now every time I get an oil change they can't get the filter to seal. They won't pay for repair of the damaged oil filter spindle because they didn't write shop notes when it happened (covered up the issue).

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Valvoline in Brooklyn Park. I arrived around 8:00–8:15 AM and was the fourth car waiting. There were four employees working, yet no one came out to ask what I needed or even acknowledge that I had been waiting. I patiently sat there for an entire hour. The frustrating part is that I didn’t even need an oil change. I only needed my tire pressure checked—that’s all. It should have been a very quick and simple request. While I was waiting, I watched cars arrive after me and get serviced before me. One car came after I did and was taken in before me, and another car arrived around 9:00 AM and was also allowed in before me. Meanwhile, no one came out to ask what I needed or explain why I was being passed over. I understand that businesses can get busy, but completely ignoring a customer for an hour without any communication is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. All someone had to do was acknowledge me and let me know what was going on. After waiting patiently for an hour just to get my tire pressure checked, I finally left without getting any service. I felt completely disregarded and poorly treated. This experience was very disappointing. I hope management addresses the lack of communication and customer service because customers deserve to be acknowledged and treated fairly.

  Quick in and out and out and great service as always at this location. It's also nice that they're open until 8pm.

  To start with they were very friendly and appeared to be professional. Before I realized it they were checking my lights and tire preassure and I appreciated that they checked to oil level first to let me know my current statis. In 20 min it was all completed and after they had checked the air and cabin filter and showed me the old with alot of leaf and dirt debris I had replaced them both. It was a used car that I had bought a few months ago and it looked like it had been awhile.
