  I had my windshield replaced at Safelite about two weeks ago, and unfortunately, the experience afterward has been extremely frustrating. When I was told the replacement was complete, I got into my vehicle and immediately noticed an error on the dash stating that the driver assistance system was not working. I drove about two miles thinking it might reset, but the warning stayed on, so I turned around and went back to the shop. I explained that the warning was still there, and the person behind the desk told me, “It was working when I finished the calibration.” When I asked whether the warning would eventually turn off, I was told, “It should,” and that if the issue continued, I should take it to the dealership. Two days later, I did exactly that. The dealership found an error code and determined that the camera adjustment/calibration had not been completed properly. I contacted Safelite with what the dealership found, and their response was that their reports showed everything was working when the vehicle left. The problem with that response is that I brought the warning light to their attention before I even left the area and returned to the shop within minutes. I specifically told them the driver assistance system was not working, and instead of investigating the problem, I was told their calibration showed it was working and that the warning “should” go away. Now I’m potentially looking at roughly $700 to correct an issue that appeared immediately after Safelite replaced my windshield and performed the calibration. This company will LIE to you and expect you to pay $700 to fix their incompetence. I gave them an opportunity to address the issue immediately after the work was completed, and instead I was sent on my way and told to take it to the dealership if the problem continued. I would strongly recommend checking everything before leaving and not accepting “it should” as an answer when something clearly isn’t working. UPDATE: I was contacted by Safelite almost immediately after posting this review. I was told that their scans and photos showed everything was working properly, essentially insinuating that what I personally experienced was not accurate. The reality is that I drove for two days with my driver assistance system not working after Safelite replaced my windshield. I finally took the vehicle to the dealership, where they found an error code and determined that the camera adjustment/calibration had not been completed properly. Safelite advertises a 30-day warranty, but based on my experience, they wouldn't even stand behind their work for 3 minutes, let alone 30 days. The warning was still on when I returned to the shop shortly after leaving, and I was simply told that it "was working" when they completed the calibration and that I should take it to the dealership if the problem continued. I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with this experience. What is even more frustrating is how much it is now going to cost me to correct an issue that occurred because the job was not completed properly—and Safelite's response has been to rely on their reports rather than acknowledge the problem that was clearly identified by the dealership. I gave Safelite the opportunity to stand behind their work, both when I returned to the shop immediately after the replacement and again after the dealership diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately, they chose not to.

  Very professional and qwik they got the job done and made sure all my safety components worked on my car after putting in new windshield recalibrated

  I was very pleased with staff at this Safelite location. I came forth with my concern about my windshield, Luke was very professional and willing to help. Directed me to his supervisor Ashley and we were able to fix the issue at hand. A big Thank you to Luke and Levi for the amazing work on my Jeep.

  Friendly, efficient technicians do an excellent job for a reasonable price. They began replacement as soon as I arrived for my appointment, and finished on time. Nice extra, they vacuumed my car and it was in desperate need of a cleaning. I highly recommend Brooklyn Park Safelight AutoGlass
