  Where do I start? Do not use safelite auto glass. Horrible experience. They maybe ok for new cars but anything older you will want a professional installer. The tech showed up and didn't have the tool to remove trim around the glass. Another time they didnt have the right tool to reinstall the rear view mirror. And it took a week to come back.

  Never again. I was warned by four different people to not use safelite. I ignored them hoping for speed, professional work and a decent price. Dropped my 99% rust free 97 f350 wrecker for a windshield. Three hours later a tech called me, told me my windshield Channel was rotten. Luckily I am decent at body work so I thought I’d drive it home and on a weekend fix the rust and install a windshield. Than I was told I would have to have it towed because they already removed and destroyed my original windshield. I picked it up with a flatbed to find a lot of my trim clips missing, trim bent and just thrown in the cab. I brought to a friend’s body shop where five veteran body techs pointed out the “ rust hole” was a broken trim clip pin that was pushed in. No rot whatsoever. Windex, 3M windshield weld, windshield and 4 hours later it was done.

  I was able to get the appointment booked within a week but on the day the front car window glass was to be installed there had been rain. I our area only sprinkles so I pushed for the installer to still come out. The instller had also spoken with my daughter to reset the appointment date/time earlier and she wanted it done too. After a week of having only one car to drive we wanted the replacement glass. After pushing back about weather, how messy the replacement would be, the amount of time he got his boss to agree to reset the appointment. As the customer I wasn't happy and wanted a next day appointment but since it was a Friday night that became a Tuesday appointment. I called back on Monday for a same day appointment since we'd already waited a week. Another new tech came out and was able to replace the window glass after a long day before our appointment. The tech did a great job and we were very appreciative of his efforts and install work.

  My technician's name was Cody, and he called me the morning of my appointment to let me know his ETA, as well as to ensure I understood the logistical needs for the repair so I could position my vehicle for efficient work. He finished earlier than expected.And it was a seamless experience. highly recommend!

  Technician did not see that i got top package and did not install new wipers. Broke clip for cover behind rear view mirror and said it was already broken, which it was not broken. Other than that not bad.
