  My truck get scratched while getting worked on and no one owned up to it. Screw them, I will NEVER use them again, and neither should you. Dead to me.

  I used to be a fan of Safelite until this past experience. Scheduled a day to have the mobile tech come out and replace my glass. Two days later I took off the day to have my glass repaired from a big crack. The tech came out at approximately 11:55am and my appointment was scheduled for the hours of 8 to noon. I met him in the driveway and immediately he stated he could not do the car at my place because it was a convertible and because of the cosmetic windshield garnishes which are brittle. I told him I took the day off, which in my line of work is quite a bit of money lost. He stated that they would have to do it at the store location in Apple Valley. I told him to make an appointment for me and it was agreed upon that I would drop off the car that evening and they would be able to do the car the next day because their technician had 40 years of experience. The next day I got a call from Matt the technician stating I would need to get new garnishes (surrounds) for the windshield because mine were already broken. Later in the day I called back Matt to get the number to talk to Brian the manager. Upon speaking with Brian, he told me they hadn’t even started the windshield replacement because they didn’t have the garnishes for the windshield. He stated they would try to get them from the dealer. I told him he was wasting his time and that Mazda is the only place you can get them now as the Fiat ones are no longer in production. Brian and I went around and around and I told him he was wasting his and my time by postponing doing the windshield due to no decorative garnishes being at the Fiat dealer. I let the car sit there until Saturday as my displeasure of Brian not listening to my concerns and picked it up from the lady at the front desk. She told me the garnishes were on backorder and they could be 3 days, three weeks, or six months out. I asked her if Brian checked into the Miata ND ones and she stated they will not fit my car and that the experience of 40 years from their tech said so. After really voicing my displeasure and making the statement that they were being like a tire shop that wouldn’t fix my flat because I didn’t have a matching hub cap, I left with my broken windshield. Fast forward one week. I ordered the exact replacement garnishes from Walser Mazda in Burnsville and the three pieces of garnishes were overnighted from Chicago, and in my hands the following evening. Today, my windshield was replaced with the new garnishes in my driveway, zero issues by a local shop and all of it went through my insurance without a hiccup. The incompetence of the lady at the front desk, the tech with a supposed 40 years of experience, and especially the Manager Brian was next level. I haven’t had such a terrible customer service experience in years. And in the end…this customer was exactly right and now I have a driveable car again. Thanks for nothing Safelite.

  Awesome job! I loved how effectively your team communicated with me, especially the reminders about my appointment. The customer service at the front desk was excellent, and I also appreciated the person who called me to let me know when my windshield was finished. Everyone was friendly, professional, and kept me informed throughout the process. High 5!

  Highly recommend! These guys are experts in their field. A pebble hit our windshield while driving the highway and the crack kept growing horizontally. Safelite had our specialized windshield in stock and was able to replace the very next day after I made the call. They also gave me an option to schedule that same day, but we couldn’t make it to the same-day appt. Amazing work, courteous and efficient staff, reasonably priced parts and labor.

  Initially scheduled a mobile repair. The repair did not work as expected so I opted for a replacement to be scheduled. Vehicle required recalibration, so I scheduled an in shop replacement. Service as expected. Have been there before and will return again if I need windshield repair/replacement. Great service and quality work.
