  I am really disappointed in how this company handles business. I manage an auto repair facility that is located 3+ hours from French Lake Auto Parts. I purchased a used transmission that was already pulled from a vehicle for a customers vehicle on the 16th of July. I had been upfront in letting them know I would be down as soon as possible to pick it up. During this time, the client was still limping their vehicle around. We had continuously reached out to them to set up a day/time to replace this transmission, and this was the contingency with me picking up the transmission. Eventually, my client called and informed me that they had decided to scrap the vehicle instead of fixing it. This is neither my fault nor French Lakes. I called French Lake Auto Parts the afternoon of August 6th, right after I heard back from my client, to request them to return the transmission and refund the amount to the card on file. Keep in mind, this transmission was already pulled and was never picked up. They have the audacity to tell me there is a 25% restocking fee. For what? To relist the transmission back online and sell it? You didn't pull it specifically for me. It was already pulled. This makes absolutely zero sense. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this company. I have never heard of this before in the 4 years I have been running a repair facility, and I have purchased quite a few used auto parts.

  Had great experience buying parts from here. Before making a 6 hour trip I requested availability and pictures of the parts. Tim was so helpful and had provided all information needed and held those parts for me until the day I had to go pick them up. Great prices, great parts, great service and clean environment. Not too many recyclers like this one around.
