  First off, we rented/selected a Jeep but the day of, they stated, “We don’t have any Jeeps here. See how it says ‘or equivalent’ at the end there.” So, that was a nice start: getting stuck with some random pickup we didn’t even want to drive. Secondly (as you’ll see in the pictures), there was more than a dozen bird craps all over the hood. I’d expect a nice clean vehicle seeing how darn expensive they make these rentals, but no. So, I had to immediately take the pickup to the car wash and even then, it wouldn’t come off, so I had to scrub it by hand. Nice of them to do that to their paying customers, eh?! Lastly, there are hidden fees they don’t tell you about up front such as a $300-$400 extra deposit. Plus, even if getting that deposit back, it was still more costly than their website suggested. I probably won’t ever rent a car again. It’s a total waste of time and money. The customer service was overall okay, though, so that’s why they got the 2 stars instead of 1.

  I have rented from this location multiple times and have always had great experiences, great service, and reliable vehicles. This most recent rental was the first time I encountered an issue. Within a few hours of picking up my vehicle, I noticed something didn’t seem right with one of the tires or possibly a wheel bearing. Since the location was already closed, I called first thing the following morning. While my initial conversation with another employee was not as helpful as I had hoped, Michelle and Josh stepped in as the managers on shift and completely turned the situation around. They listened to my concerns, took them seriously, and made sure I was quickly provided with another vehicle that I felt safe and comfortable driving. When I arrived josh was extremely professional, attentive, and thorough in making sure everything was resolved and that all of my concerns were addressed. His customer service truly stood out and reinforced the positive experiences I have consistently had with this location. I will absolutely continue to rent from the Ypsilanti Enterprise location. Things don’t always go perfectly, but how a business responds when an issue does arise says a lot. When I returned the vehicle Josh handled the situation exceptionally well, and I greatly appreciate the care and professionalism he showed towards me as a customer.
