  I've taken our cars to this Tuffy location for years and can't recall a bad experience. The prices are competitive, the staff is knowledgeable and the service is top-notch. They diagnose the trouble and handle it. Unlike some shops, they don't "fix" problems that don't exist. Recently, an oil fill cap slipped out of my hand and into the engine bay. I searched under the hood and from below the car but could not locate it. The Tuffy crew put it on the hoist and returned the missing cap to me within five minutes -- at no charge. If you're looking for an honest, capable car repair shop in Shelby Township, Tuffy's for you.

  I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Tuffy! I brought my Mercedes in after hearing an extremely loud scraping noise and was genuinely worried that something was seriously wrong with my car. They were able to take a look at it right away, immediately put me at ease, and quickly discovered that the culprit was simply a rock that had become lodged and was causing all of that terrible noise. What impressed me most was the kindness, honesty, and integrity of the service I received. They could have easily turned such a stressful situation into an unnecessary repair bill, but instead they were completely transparent about what was going on and didn’t charge me for taking care of it. I left incredibly relieved, with my car running perfectly and feeling like I had found a place I could genuinely trust. It’s rare to come across this level of honest, thoughtful customer service, especially when you walk in worried and unsure of what might be wrong. I will absolutely return to Tuffy in the future and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for turning what started as a very stressful afternoon into such a positive experience!

  10/10 would highly recommend! I just got my tires replaced and they were able to do it right away and with a great affordable price! The customer service was outstanding, they did everything to make sure my car was ready for the road safely! Will definitely be recommending this place for anyone who needs anything

  We had a tire leaking on a road trip, and wanted to get it checked. Not only did they get us in fast on a Sunday, but when they couldn't find anything wrong with it, they filled all the tires, replaced the valve cap and didn't charge us a thing!

  Great and speedy service! I had a flat tire and had a towing company swap out my flat for my spare so I could drive it to Tuffy’s. They were flexible with my timeline as I didn’t know what time I would be arriving, and they were able to fix it immediately when I got there!
