I've been going here for over twenty years, they have always been honest and given me a fair deal. They also stand behind their work and their warrantees.

Jason has done miracles for my car more than once!! he’s always thorough and I never leave Unhappy! I’ve gone to four or five different places just to see about getting work done and I get told oh maybe in a week or if you leave it here for us for a few days we’ll try to get it in! I don’t ever have to even make an appointment I can just go in and I walked out with my car fixed. Super happy.

This place will squeeze every dollar they can out of you.
Had a problem, engine light on, I dropped it off at Tuffy on my lunch break. They diagnosed that spark plugs and coils had to be replaced and wanted to charge $840. Blown away by that pricing when I looked at the cost of parts online, I talked them down to $600. I decided to bail, as they said there was no way to know if there were deeper issues until I paid for that fix. They still charged me $130 for diagnosis. Thankfully I managed to find a $20-off coupon online for that while I was at the counter.
I advocate that anyone considering going to this location first try what I did instead a few days later:
Less than a mile down the road is AutoZone. They will run engine light codes and print a report for you for free (it took 5 minutes). Right away it confirmed issues with the coils + spark plugs, the same diagnosis I paid $110 for at Tuffy.
I punched those codes + my vehicle info into Google. Between the "AI Overviews" from search results and a YouTube video, it took 20 minutes and $130 in parts from AutoZone (who even let me borrow tools for free) to learn how to swap out coils and plugs myself. Using Google's "AI Overviews" to further troubleshoot the engine, I confirmed the issue had nothing to do with spark plugs or coils, but instead a deeper issue with Cylinder 1 beyond my wheelhouse (and what I was willing to spend on my vehicle) to repair.
A little over an hour, $130, and a bit of effort on the internet saved me $600 I would have spent at Tuffy to find out my car was cooked anyways.
"AI" sucks for a lot of reasons, but it couldn't replace shady mechanics soon enough.

Promptly changed my oil and removed an impossibly stuck drain plug. I can’t think of another shop that could accomplish this in 25 minutes. 😊

Recently had my brakes done at Tuffy I have 0 complaints with the services that were done! Winnie and Dan had great customer service from start to finish! My only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is we had a bit of a miscommunication that I will clarify WAS taken care of! My only issue was is Winnie did exactly what I asked I personally added on an extra task last minute before she passed off my car she wrote down what my extra task was and it was forgotten to do by Dan, when I brought up it still needed done Dan was quick to place the blame stating Winnie shouldn’t have wrote it down and that he only looks at the computers! In my opinion computer or not it’s the technicians responsibility to look over everything written down on the sheet handed to him before he ever pulls in the vehicle! That being said I thought it was a bit unprofessional for him to place the blame on anyone but himself or at the very least not hold himself accountable in some sort of way! Winnie did a great job doing everything I had personally asked her to do! Aside from this everything else was done to my liking and I will most likely return in the future!
