  Super easy pickup and drop off experience and reasonable rental rate... only issue was a oil level high light that came on as I was driving out of the rental parking lot... and didnt know the audi required premium fuel so cost a bit more to fill up... car was clean and drove great... will rent here again🤘😬

  This has go to be the best and smoothest rental car process I have ever experienced. I was able to check in and get my key before my luggage was put onto the conveyor belt. Couple this with 5-star service and you can count me in on renting from Alamo again whenever I am in Traverse City.

  Excellent service renting from Alamo. I highly recommend using Alamo as their customer service was great, fast, and convenient. I rented a sports car and the car was amazing and clean. I was able to extend my rental no problem and when I went to drop it back off I was even helped before they were open. Definitely recommend and will be returning, 5 stars!!!!!

  Booked a car through calling them, weeks later, the day we are supposed to be picking it up they send me an email it was canceled.. not happy. Apparently "didnt have any cars" after showing my frustration they suddenly had a car.

  I prepaid online for a transit van rental through Alamo, only to be called the day before our trip and told not only was there no van available, but that no vans had been available at this location for over two months due to spring break demand. I made this reservation because another rental company had canceled our confirmed reservation two days before our trip. So I thought I'd give Alamo a try. Since the reservation went through, I thought we were all set. It’s extremely concerning that reservations were still being accepted—and payments taken—despite known inventory shortages. I’m hoping for accountability and changes to prevent other families from going through this. We had two vehicles that we could still take our crew and go, but what if we didn't? We would have lost the money we paid for our VRBO, plus have to tell our three kids and their three friends that the Florida trip they had looked forward to for over two months was canceled because the confirmed, prepaid van rental just wasn't there. Also, the LOCAL person I talked with didn't care at all. He was rude, and his customer service skills were nonexistent. If you know me, you know I am a very reasonable, compassionate person. My initial reaction was that the corporate level failed our local branches because the reservation was made on their national website. But he said they knew they didn't have vans for over two months, and was so terribly rude that I quickly became disgusted. There has got to be a better system for tracking inventory.
