She stated “Advance Auto this is Lisa” there was a slight pause, so I began my question and before I could even finish, she rudely stated ooh no hold that, hold that hold that…I’m with a customer just hold on a second, can you hold on? Then didn’t even put me on hold so I heard the entire rude conversation she was having with another customer. Now why in the hell wouldn’t you answer the phone with Advance Auto can you please hold for a moment? Glad OReillys had the part.. give that lady an award for rudeness! Never shopping there again.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
