We had it diagnosed at an overpriced dealership in town, and chose a cheaper option. When i made the appointment i informed the guy of this, he said 450 as we were looking for rear brakes and rotors. Seemed legit. After we dropped the car, they rang and informed us, it was not brake trouble, its shocks for sure. Oh...ok, if you are sure, they were sure. Set an appointment dropped the car, got the call its done. When we went to get the car, guess what? Clunk is still there, no change. Immediately turned around, and was informed, its the mounts, that the new shocks didnt have mounts. Huh? Im not pleased obviously, and Joe said, we will take care of it. Made an appointment. 3rd times the charm right? Nope, still clunks. At this point, we were done. And we paid 400 bucks for parts that didnt fix the problem in the first place. I appreciated the second "fix" but it didnt do the job. Not even close. Im not mechanic, never claimed to one. And im not sure who diagnosed this disaster but it was unfortunate for us. Good luck.
