  I am extremely disappointed in the establishment for locking up my car for two weekends including the Fourth of July. Took my E550 for frame work on Monday, 06/22 after the part was ordered and paid for a week before. I was asked to dropped the vehicle off on 06/22 which I did. Met with Caleb Willett and assured me the car would be ready on Thursday,, 06/25. I did not hear from the shop on 06/25, so on 06/26 Friday, gave him a call because I did not want my car locked up for the weekend. The shop closed on Sat/Sun. Now Caleb said it will be ready Monday 06/29. At the end of the day no call. I waited , through July 02, called several times, no answer, found out the shop closed 07/01 thru 07/06. Another weekend hold. That’s very irresponsible and stupid customer care and service. This should be embarrassing. As of this writing, my vehicle is still locked up with no remorse.

  I brought in my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 to them for an alignment. A couple of other shops including a dealer couldn't get my truck to go straight. Having the proper tools and equipment along with the mechanics to use them properly, they identified a couple of worn suspension parts. I gave them the go ahead to make the repairs. A short time later I was down the road with the proper parts replaced and a straight alignment. I tip my hat to the entire team at Clyde's, excellent job!

  If you’re worried about flaky mechanics or half-ass work, if you’re worried about your 40+ year old car sitting outside catching sun fade and rain, if you’re worried about traveling to 5 different shops and still not finding the right team, if you’re worried about the technician not going the full 10 yards and not listening to your concerns, if you’re worried about having an amateur work on your life’s work… then obviously you’ve never been here, because this place is the complete opposite. I’ve been all over Michigan and never felt at home at any shop until now. Got my 1986 MK3 front alignment done here at Clyde’s, and I won’t look back to any other shop. If you have a low or lifted ride, they will hands down — zero bullshit, OEM or aftermarket — get it done right the first time. From the secretary, to parts, to service… job well done and full respect given. My ride was even kept on the showroom floor instead of outside, which was my biggest concern. High Recommend this place to any and all car and truck enthusiasts.
