  Top-notch service in Northern Michigan! A huge thank you to Joseph and the Petoskey Enterprise team for taking such great care of us during our visit: Proactive Support: They called ahead to offer us a great vehicle upgrade because of high weekend demand. Airport Delivery: Arranged to drop the car at the Charlevoix Airport FBO two days early so it was ready for our Sunday arrival. Great Follow-up: Joseph reached out personally to check in when we returned the car early due to mid-week plan changes. Tip for future renters: Call ahead to confirm directly if you need drop-off service at local airports. Highly recommend!

  I would give this business zero stars if I could. Unfortunately, this is not our first terrible experience with them. Our car was supposed to be waiting for us at the Pellston airport when we landed per our reservation. Sadly, no car. Repeated phone calls and emails resulted in nothing. 2 1/2 hours later a driver brings a pick up truck to us for a family of five with lots of luggage. We rented a full-size SUV obviously. Co. has nothing to say and no resolution. Driver left the facility in a large full-size minivan.. Went speeding out of there with not a word to us. It was fun, putting all of our stuff in the open bed of the pick up truck and hoping that it would make it to the hotel. On top of that we missed our first activity for our kids and our first work appointment. They are completely unreliable and I would not use this Co. ever again. Thanks enterprise! Response to owner: so now you want me to go to more work and go to a website? Are you kidding me? You know who I am. Call me and fix this. Your response is a joke.

  I made a reservation for one day, confirmed via email. Tried to use their "check in now" but it wouldn't load. Tried it from my phone but the website froze. Arrived at the location, and they informed me that they do not rent to "out-of-staters" unless you have a credit card. This would have been lovely to know in advance; but at no point was this mentioned in the reservation process. The lady at the desk said that there's nothing she can do to help me. I couldn't call anyone, because there was no cell service. They had no wifi, and suggested walking down the road to a strip mall that had wifi. I don't understand. In years past, I rented from Enterprise with a debit card. Why can't they just place a hold for an amount they deem safe? Why not take my actual money? Completely ruined my entire trip. Even if they could care less about people who refuse to partake in the credit industry, they should at least have a working website, clearly (and briefly) explain their payment policy, and they definitely need to get wifi. It should not be the case that you can get stranded at their shop with no way to contact anyone. I'm fortunate that the person dropping me off hadn't left. This was truly a nightmare.

  I had a rental reservation for July 15th at 11:00a, which I had done earlier in the week via the Enterprise app. I was coming from Mackinaw City to Petoskey to pick up the car to drive back to Chicago, IL. I did the check-in online and upon arrival, the car was available and ready. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. I wish I could give 6 stars. Thanks Enterprise Petoskey, MI!
